Answer:
There isn't a replacement handle assembly available. If your item is still under the 3 Year Limited Warranty, you can replace product if defective with THD. Take to your local store with receipt if available, or call 1888-HD-HUSKY for customer service.

Not easily. There is no replacement sold, none that I have seen. I have had a couple of these with handles that break and you either bolt it solid, live with it, or trash them.
I am sure you could find something somewhere that would work, but it will never be the same and probably be very time consuming.

Might be time for a new bag. These bags have slightly changed over the years but most of them have the zipper and velcro inside. Even though these are present they don't really serve a purpose once the bag is complete. The bag is finished with rivets that cannot be reused. Once you take the bag completely apart to get to the wheel assembly then you would have to take the wheel assembly apart. Finding a wheel and all the pieces to put the bag back together would be extremely time consuming. With the time and parts needed I wouldn't think you would save much money.
However, to replace the wheel you would have to drill out all the rivets inside of the bag. You could then start to remove the liner. Once the liner is removed you should be able to get the the inside attachment for the wheel assembly.
Hope this helps Read Less

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 60 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by I have a problem The problem that I have with my rolling tool bag is that the handle keeps on going down when ever I let go of it and I am getting sick of it. But other then that I think it is handy to have and it gets the job done. April 29, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by husky rolling tool It is very strong and comfortable . I gave him my husband. July 12, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Big oversight This bag has a draw back. It does not have a staphook up to put electrical tape on to it or rolls of Teflon tape to it. Big draw back. July 5, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good bag for the first year This is a great bag when it's brand new. This bag rolls smooth and the handle bar pushes down very easily. As time progresses and it starts to show wear, things start to go bad. I've held onto and used my bag for 2 solid years 5 days a week and it was finally time to get a new one. The good thing is that it holds a lot of bigger tools, not so much the smaller tools. It does have pockets for smaller tools, but they tend to get crowed stuffing them with different hand tools. The outside pockets are great for tools that you use on a frequent basis for quick access. The one and only big pocket that it has, really hasn't been useful other than storing small screws and scrapers. Overall the bag is good, but the reason for 3 stars is that the pockets wear out and produce holes from screw drivers, wire cutters and such. The wheels gave me an uneven wear so it was tough to pull around without it moving one way. The bottom front plastic nubs eventually wear out and the bags fabric starts to wear a giant hole on the bottom. May 9, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent choice This tote was an excellent choice to carry all my tools and much more. Not only can I carry all my tools but also my power drills May 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sturdy It helped me organize my stuff and easy to carry around even its heavy because of the roller. May 11, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Defective Bag/ Good Customer Service I purchased this tote to hold about 30lbs of soft equipment for my fitness business in 2013-14. I literally could not believe the seams gave on this bag when going down stairs. I thought this was a sturdy (husky) equipment tote bag on wheels, but customer beware. Home Depot and Husky warranty does not support you. There were NO Tools inside the bag. However, the Customer Service Staff via 888# was very professional, helpful and did provide a $30 credit coupon on the purchase of a replacement from the store, based on the fact that we have made so many purchases in the last year that were traceable through our card. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Takes a beating, plenty of room for anything My previous employer purchased a few of these for us on a trial basis. We filled them with all our gear, used them as makeshift handtrucks, dragged them around NYC, up and down thousands of flights of stairs, tossed them in and out of our work trucks, etc. these things took the beating and kept rolling along. We liked them so much, the boss bought them for all the techs. I used and abused mine for about 2 years before I left the company and passed it on to a new guy. I thought about taking it with me to my new job, but the boss wouldn't let me. It still was in good shape. January 28, 2016
