Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Scotty There's a reason it was on sale for $25
I bought this kit hoping to find a great value for a set of jack stands and floor jack, but found out quickly that you pay for what you get. The jack stands don't sit level on my flat concrete floor, and the jack doesn't lift at all on every third pump of the handle (give or take). My first attempt to lift a car with a curb weight of less than half the jack weight rating made me trust this jack to barely lift a go kart. I will be returning this jack kit to the store at the first opportunity. Learn from someone who frequently uses automotive tools and spend a few extra bucks to get a quality, safe jack and jack stands.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by ScottM Good Value for 2-1/2 ton with Stands...
The jack is multi-valve, meaning it will raise within 1 or 2 pumps to the needed height, but its all complicated from there. It pumps a VERY small amount from that point onward. I've also noticed you really have to complete the pump down for the amount you just pumped to remain. For that reason alone this is not an easy jack to use compared to others. The jack stands are nice quality and nice to have under what ever you are working on. The value on sale is comparable to just the 2-ton version at other stores, so for that reason this jack gets 5 stars on value.

The floor jack doesn't have enough height (or lift) for full size vehicles. Needs an height extender for the saddle to reach the lifting points of an full size SUV's or Truck. Good deal for the money if you have a small (low to the ground) vehicle. The 3 ton garage jack kit (Model# HD00101) would have been the better purchase, but it wasn't avaliable in my store. My local store couldn't even order it for me and I could not purchase it online. Why do they even bother to show it to me on the website!

I thought at first because of the price this would be a not so useful product, however upon opening the box the jack and the stands are all well constructed. I have used them numerous times and am very happy with the quality as well as durability.

The Jack stands are very well made. I particularly like the feet with the triangular plate on the bottom. I plan to use them for my trailer so they will be less apt to sink into soft soil. The jack alone was worth the money!!!

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Randy Small but good
Very small with a low lift height. It can get the job done but barely. It will raise quickly enough if you have the clearance to move the handle but even you can move it, it's quite difficult. Did brakes on my car with it but it barely got high enough to get the wheels off the ground. The price was right @ 25$. Wouldn't pay more than that though. The Jack stands are nice. Would recommend using them

The part of the jack that actually contacts the car is smaller than most jack pads allow for. Wish it was a larger size both for that reason and to spread the force out over a larger area. Other than that, it's fine, so when you consider the price, it was a worthwhile purchase. If my budget was larger, I'd look for a nicer model, though.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by txbimmerfan Great for light work
The low profile makes it easy to slide under our vehicles, which was an important feature as our sports sedans are fairly low. So far, it's worked well with no issues to note. As the title implies, it's great for light work, i.e. brakes, oil changes, minor underbody stuff. Good buy overall.
