Updated Answer: Actually if you take it to the store they probably will just give you a new one. Package does say Lifetime Warranty. Go to Customer Service Desk and ask them. They will refer you to Hardware and get one, and send you back to Customer Service for paperwork. And as I said in another post This is a GREAT LITTLE KNIFE to carry in your pocket regularly.

Answer:
Don't know answer. I suspect not. These are tiny screws and I've had the same issue with them working loose. These are probably the same small screws used in eyeglasses. I would try somewhere like Walmart Eyeglass counter or maybe Home Depot Hardware. Very small screws! I would get Phillips head to make them easier to tighten! Wonderful knife! I clip it to my pocket and use it all of the time!

Answer:
It's kinda like a pocket knife with a locking blade. you press the Stainless Steel lever on the top, it allows the blade to bend. Probably you've already figured it out! The housing of the case is slightly indented on both sides which shows you where to press it.

Answer:
It's a top lock. Depress the button on the spine of the knife and that releases the blade.

2.4 in. Compact Folding Lock-Back Utility Knife is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this Compact Knife Have tried for years to come up with a knife that I could clip to my pants pocket and carry it with me through the work day. Don't like putting it in my nail apron. Most other models and brands have always been too bulky and heavy. This one is thin. It is PLENTY sturdy. Takes a couple of times to understand changing blades. The only tiny issue is that eventually the tiny screws start working loose and its hard to find a tool to tighten them. Wonderful knife. I literally carry it fulltime through the workday.

I bought a 3 pack about a year ago and liked them so much I bought more to hand out at work as Christmas gifts. (Last Christmas (2015) the 3 pack was $6, I think it was). Bought several more for myself too. Had many a utility knife but I love love love this one. Compact and thin in your pocket but the handle is still large enough to get a firm grip. Blade holding mechanism is very secure, but changes easily - once you figure it out. Some others I've used the blade comes loose by accident during use every once in a while - very bad!! What's not to like on this one??? To the person who said it was hard to fold... never noticed that... Just bought a few more. Only down side is I loose them... I'm all over multiple job sites daily.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hard to Close This product is really nice, I like the compact size and love the red color. However it is very difficult to close. It's hard to push the to mechanism to get the blade to fold down. I tried it several time and my fingers and thumbs were very sore as I tried to get it to work without much effort. Maybe it loosens up after a while but I don't think my hands can take it while it's getting to that point. It's definitely going back to Home Depot. Perhaps with larger, stronger hands it would not be an issue.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from replace the blade Not a bad little knife...once you replace the blade. Bought it today...based on price and that it is slim and compact. Figure if I like it/use it I can always get a fancier one. Took it out of the packaging to trim some plastic for a spacer I was making...yeah. Would not cut...safely. It took way too much pressure to chop the plastic to length...then the edge rolled over when it hit my tile countertop (don't ask). Then it took way too much pressure to slice...and the plastic actually ruined the rest of the edge. Swapped out to one of my blades (0.025 in the bulk dispenser type) and problem solved. It is a little short for my liking, and we'll see how it goes with gloves on. The unlock mechanism is on the back...but I knew that when I bought it. The mechanism does not work smoothly though, and I am not able to close it with one hand...might take it apart and remedy that. You get what you pay for...sure, but for $5 it'll let me test the waters on this kind of knife for everyday use. 3 stars based on bad blade and rough lock mechanism.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not very good, cheap not only in price I purchased this knife really just to see what one gets for $5.00 and now I know: not much. The screws are off center, the blade release mechanism is flimsy, etc. I know it's only $5.00 but you can do much better for about $1 or $2 more. It seems like a good idea to try and make a very compact utility knife that holds a standard contractor blade. The problem here is in the execution.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk The blade pulls out of this knife if it's put under stress. Mine fell apart the second time I used it. The Home Depot gave me a refund with no problems.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cheap. Good. Sturdy, thin, attached belt clip. Had to cut circles in the carpet during installation and this worked with ease.
