This is a nice sized portable oil-free electric air compressor for the garage. It delivers enough air to power most air tools. The extras included are tools, an air socket wrench and an air impact wrench, both Husky quality. The pump fills in about six minutes and keeps up supplying air for these tools as well as my small die grinder and air chisel. The compressor ships with an air hose, 25 feet 3/8 inch with fittings which other compressors don't always include. Its not louder than other compressors, but I'd recommend running it outside when working on the car as it sounds a lot louder inside an enclosed garage and the spec puts it around 80 decibels. I ran the unit on my 15 amp house line without a problem which was an original concern. Also, some don't like bleed valves on the bottom of the tank. This one is dead center on the bottom, a screw turn type that you can easily get to after tilting the unit. For DIY weekend stuff this compressor will work just fine and keep up. It comes with two rubber covered wheels for tilt and roll maneuverability and weights about a hundred pounds. It worked right out of the box after attaching the supplied quick connect fittings. Very nice low maintenance, no fuss compressor all around.

Picked up from local Home Depot after order it online (great experience), unboxed it after I got home, applied included tape to fittings and started right up. Loud but it's an air compressor, come on!...filled up pressure in no time and everything worked right out of the box. Very satisfied!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by jswobe Great air compressor with enough power for my garage
This is a great unit, and a great deal as a purchase. I already owned a number of pneumatic tools, and I was powering them with a smaller, much more portable compressor that was constantly running to refill the tank and keep up with the air flow demands. This 26 gallon unit has solved that problem. It powers my ratchet, driver, grinder and my air nailers easily. The die grinder was the biggest air hog, and this unit keeps up with it with no problem. I have had several grinding projects I wanted to tackle, but was hesitant to do so because of my smaller air compressor. This unit has solved that dilemma.
As far as purchase value - it comes with everything necessary to get started using the included ratchet and impact driver. The 1/4" NPT fittings, the teflon tape and the 3/8" air hose are all included. Assemble, plug it in and you are ready to operate out of the box. I find very few things that are so ready to use immediately. The only necessary addition I would prefer - besides your other pneumatic nailers and automotive tools - is a ball chuck valve or other fitting for filling tires (via a typical Schrader valve).
I have it installed in a shed, with an air hose ran through the basement into my garage and connected to a hose reel. It runs as necessary (although not very often, to be honest) and is always on standby, ready to operate. The only disadvantage to this configuration is the time / trouble it takes me to adjust the outlet pressure. (A remote pressure valve in the garage may be the next required upgrade).
If I'm being picky, my only complaint about the unit is the tiny dials for the tank pressure gauge and outlet pressure gauge. Given the size of the unit, I think it would have supported a larger set of gauges with easier to read numbers...and maybe even a second outlet valve. But those are small wishes, in my opinion.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Remodeledbathroom Great portable comperssor
This compressor is a good size and fits well in the garage. It is not very loud at all. It fills to 150 in about ten minutes or less. It held pressure for three hours before I drained it. It came with the only two tools I need. I would definitely recommend this. Also, the pressure is very forceful."

So, getting this air compressor was a stretch for me, being a 50 year old woman, I have never used something like this before. But I can't wait to put it to use. So far I have only turned it on and learned how to put the various tools on. We will be using this to remodel a small vacation home. Now that I know what it can do, I realize just how much effort this will save us when hanging sheet rock, painting, sanding drywall, building a deck and even cleaning up! I have enjoyed learning about all the things I can do with this compressor and can't wait to put it to good use as a workhorse for so many projects. I have read good things about this product and so although I haven't used it yet in an actual application, aside from cleaning the patio by blowing dust...I am confident that I will be more than satisfied with it's performance. I was intimidated at first but quickly found it was very easy to use and just followed the instructions. So even for a beginner this air compressor is great. It is quite heavy, and I could not get it out of the box by myself. The delivery driver was very helpful and brought it into the garage for me.

I have only had the compressor for few weeks, but it seems like it is perfect for the home shop. Runs fairly quietly for the size and am looking to see how it performs this fall for blowing out my lawn sprinklers.

We need a larger compressor for around-the-property jobs. Based on other reviews, we might have considered something else if we were professionals. Not able to comment on longevity and durability after one month but so far we’ve been very impressed. This Husky seems to be a more reasonable price compared to other brands of similar size and ratings. The vertical tank takes up very little floor space for easy storage. It’s light enough to easily wheel around to various jobs.
The unit is high quality and includes all quick-connects for the Husky air ratchet & impact wrench provided with this package. CFM rating is sufficient to run most tools; the tank pressures up to 150-psi in only 5-min, and the pump is not overly loud. Tank and tool pressure gauges are highly visible; the air filter is convenient and easy to clean; having an oil-free pump is one less hassle; and a sturdy cover hides the moving parts.
The 25-ft hose is also good quality, although we would have preferred 50-ft. The electrical cord is heavy-duty, 6-ft long, and has a 3-prong 110V plug (you’ll need a heavy duty extension.)
One of our first projects was removing very stubborn rusted mower blades from a bush hog. No WD-40 and strained muscles involved (although knowing they were left- handed threads would have shortened the effort!) Handy addition to our garage helpers.
