I needed to add some more storage space to my 26" tool cabinet. For the price, this fit the bill just fine. Like my current cabinet, the metal is really thin, but it didn't come pre-dented or anything. Also, the locking mechanism is broken as it doesn't lock at all. Luckily for me, I don't plan on putting any heavy tools in it nor do I have a need to lock it. Pro users and those who need lockable drawers be warned.
If you plan on mounting this to an existing tool cabinet, it comes with mounting hardware. The nuts and bolts were in a little bag that had found its way underneath the bottom drawer. So if you can't find them, check under the drawers (which need to come out in order to mount it anyways).

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Hans Serves it's purpose
I bought this to put in my work truck to keep my tools more organized, this is the only chest that would fit in my truck box, so for that this chest served it's purpose. The weight capacity seems fine and the drawers slide easily, BUT, the locking mechanism is poorly constructed, it won't lock both drawers, and anyone could break into it if it is locked. Can't beat the price, but you get what you pay for.

I’ve always wanted a tool chest, but was never able to spend the bucks for an expensive set. I happened to see this one at my local HD, and they had a pricing special, buy the base and the chest, get the middle chest free. Reading the other reviews, I saw that these seem to damage easily in transit, so I made sure the boxes I picked weren’t damaged. (Some of the ones at the store were).
I wouldn’t call this item heavy duty, and I wouldn’t expect it to hold up to long term daily shop use by a professional. The gauge of steel isn’t tremendously thick, and it’s just not in the same league as the pro sets that cost 2-3 times as much. However, for a DIY’er like me who is going to work in the garage a few times a month, this is perfect. It is economical, good looking, functional. The ball bearing drawers work great. Let’s face it, if those aren’t good, that kinda ruins everything. It’s easy to move around, although mine will stay put most of the time. As long as you’re not dropping heavy things in the drawers and slamming it around, I see no reason why it won’t last for decades.
I’m glad I found it for the price I did, it’s a great option. What surprised me the most was once I got it together and started putting my tools in it, I still had several empty drawers. Time to get more tools!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by OldGuy01 This One Is Definately Not A Keeper - Caveat emptor - "Made in USA" and Very Poor Quality
Intermediate Husky 26"x12"x12" (WxDxH) tool chest was to compliment a gift set from last Christmas and intended to hold SAE and metric box/combination wrenches, ratchets and sockets. Seriously doubt whether either drawer can actually hold 50 pounds of tools. Last year's upper and lower gift set version had superior drawer slides and acceptable workmanship and were a "Black Friday Special"; expectation was this intermediate tool chest would follow suit. Straight out-of- the- box drawers were bent concave by 1/16"+ to 1/8" and the lower drawer had real difficulty locking.
Product was made for Husky by Waterloo Industries and was actually "Made in USA"; can't blame China this time!

Too light weight- hard to believe it is steel-. I brought it home, took it out of the box and put it right back in and returned it the next day. Granted, It WAS inexpensive, but not even worth the $49.00 I paid for it.
I would be hesitant to put anything heavier in it than my 7yo sons "plastic play tools"
I believe if I would have placed my top chest (small 6 drawer) on top of it their would have been immediate structural failure.
If you are serious about buying it, at least take it out of the box before leaving the store-might change your mind- and save the gas of the return trip-wish I would have.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Rick Can't get one of the drawers to unlock so it can be opened
This product comes with a key lock which needs to be used to open the drawers. One of the drawers will open but no matter how I work with the other drawer or the lock, it will not open. I guess I will need to contact the manufacturer as the instructions tell me not to contact the seller.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by KNPDX Could Be Much Better
Not near the same quality as my husky top box or four drawer rollaway. The steel is much thinner. The Drawer handle is of a different non matching ( and cheaper ) design. The drawers are also much to deep. Husky, you could have done much better on this one......

No frills here, just a nice sturdy tool box. I wish it had some better handles so it could be a little easier to move around.
