This tool chest is very sturdy and well-built. They took great care to cover every part of metal with plastic film about which some reviewers complained but I think shows the care the manufacturer is taking to keep the metal looking good right to the customer. Wheels are big, sturdy, and roll nicely. Two wheels are fixed and two swivel with brakes. Assembly didn't take too long. The drawers slide nicely. My only complaint are the large warning stickers that aren't made to be removed on one side. The stainless steel really flashes up my garage work area and now all my tools have safe, easy storage.

The value of this box is a good value. First off the stainless is a good idea. What your getting for the money is worth $299. However the welds on this box are very poor . I have pictures that I took of the welds and they look like a 5 year old spot welded the box.
Like I said for the money it's a good box just the quality of welds were terrible !!!!
It's sad too because it could be the best value out there with just a little quality control !

I ordered online. Very happy for the price. It arrived and I picked it up since Ship to Store was free. Got it home and opened it up. Missing three bolts for wheel casters and the top section of the lower half was smashed down. Thus, jamming the top drawer from opening. The metal is so thin it started tearing at the corners where it was smashed down. I am not even going to bother opening the upper top section to see what it looks like. It will go back for a refund tomorrow. I am not taking a chance of another one damaged when I get it home. Its a good deal for the price but I would like something of higher tougher quality. Perhaps, if I could open it at the store and know its not damaged then I may consider getting it.

Just bought this tool chest last Friday and very happy with it. Easy assembly and very sturdy design. The drawers slide very smooth and have a detent lock when pushed all the way into the cabinet. Although I will have to clean dirty finger prints off the SSTL cabinet, I knew that when I bought it and it doesnt bother me at all! I really like the look of stainless steel. My only bad feedback is that the top and bottom key locks for the cabinets dont match. The boxes must have been mixed up during shipping. I'm confident that the manufactuer will work with me to fix this issue.

Picked this up yesterday and i have to say I'm very impressed. Found it on sale at Home Depot. The drawers roll smooth and the stainless looks good. It will NEVER RUST! The gas shocks are solid and the casters roll smooth. For the money i have to say it would recommend this to anyone. Plus a 3 yr warranty. Sold!

This is a very nice unit at an amazing price. Shop around and look at other stainless units.
Drawers are painted steel. Unit comes with a lot of white plastic protective film. Boxing is well designed & easy to remove.
I always use Loc-Tite on the bolts/screws, grease the drawer rails, and grease the wheel ball bearings.
Steel Meister cleans it up nicely. HD sells.
I'd prefer all wheels pivot. Easier to maneuver. But not a big deal.
Love to see the 46 in. Stainless Steel 5-Drawer 1-Door Mobile Work Center.
If I had the $$, I'd have bought 2. Optional add-on left-right shelves would be handy.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by vimk Lustrous Stainless finish but weak drawers
Bright stainless finish that brightens up any garage. Good maneuverability with locking casters and handle. Picked up a set for an incredible price but somewhat disappointed in the thin metal cabinet drawers that flex under light pressure and bow out the slides. No issues with the top chest but the drawers in the lower cabinet could use heavier gauge metal and stronger slide mechanisms. The center of each of the lower cabinet drawer sliders have a hole that seems to be missing a rivet that could reduce the flex and bowing of the drawers. The large safety stickers needed much more effort to remove than the film protecting the stainless finish. If the rivets do the trick it may be a beautiful light-weight keeper.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by buba Best deal there is on a SS tool box
I bought one for my shop and am planning on getting another for my home. Not only does it look excellent, it has taken a beating with no problems. Doors glide nicely, plenty of room and very handsome.
