The new Husky air tool line is built to industrial standards for the professional user providing more power, less noise and longer life. This new Husky 3/8 in. Impact Wrench features a low weight composite housing and low vibration Dynapact clutch that produces 150 ft. lb. of torque. Internal silencing greatly reduces tool noise and the built-in Forward/Reverse power management system allows the user to match the speed and power of the tool to the job. Customer Reviews

3/8 in. 150 ft. lbs. Impact Wrench is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great torque and comfortable on the hands. This unit produced the advertised torque, when confirmed with a torque wrench. It is a very respectable weight and size for getting into tight spots. The grip is very comfortable to the hands and the composite material doesn't get icy cold (especially in colder temperatures) and provides a firm handhold. The direction control is the only downside for me. Unlike some competitive units, having to rotate the switch on the back of the gun was cumbersome. Having a forward/reverse button would be much more intuitive, especially where blind or one-handed changing of direction is required. For the price, it is still a very good product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gets The Job Done Obviously for the price you aren't getting industrial-grade equipment, but this feels like a very high quality tool that is nice to have in the tool chest. I only have a small air compressor capable of delivering 90psi, which is the minimum requirement for this tool. However the manual recommends at least an 8 gallon compressor for best results, and for good reason. My little compressor does a great job for about 3 seconds, and then begins to lose steam. Be aware that it will work with a smaller compressor, but only for very short bursts with lots of waiting in between. Overall, it feels very solid and no doubt performs great when matched to the right compressor. Not a lot of bells or whistles, but just a solid basic air tool.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great value for the money This impact is a good quality tool that is lighter than other brands that have the same torque.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from cheap gun, get what you pay for. heres the bottom line, I was a mechanic for many years. I no longer work on cars professionally so there is no tool truck coming to my house for warranties. I needed something to replace a matco gun that wore out for my home shop. I wasn't paying much attention when I was buying it as I had many other purchases. when I got home I was disappointed. The forward/reverse switch on the back sticks out tall, unlike the Ingersoll/rand/matco composite gun this husky one copies, the forward/reverse switch is plastic, I can see this hitting something and snapping off. there is NO torque settings its one speed. The gun also is very week, the IR one in the same size hits at around double maybe triple this guns max torque. My old IR could be used instead of a 1/2" gun. The only thing keeping me from returning it is the price. It was only $50 so you get what you pay for. I only recommend this gun for HOME use. In the real world this gun wouldn't hold up to every day use, as its underpowered and im positive the forward/reverse switch is going to break. However some positive things are that theres a 2 year warrantee, the gun is light weight, and its VERY quiet.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Adequate I recommend only for small jobs, nothing professional or heavy duty. It works ok for me when I need to take off cabinet doors and simple things like that but I wouldn't recommend for anything heavy duty. Lightweight enough and easy to tote around so I don't have to bring my other monster. Not sure how long it will last and will post an update after six months or so.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Stciky operation Sticky operation, selection lever feels as if it doesn't actually set in the correct position. Have to pull the trigger several times to get the tool to engage. Moving the selector lever seems to have little effect.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Pathetic I just bought one of these at my local HD tonight, brought it home and tried to use it on some M8 motorcycle rotor bolts. In a word, I would have to summarize this thing as "pathetic." It didn't touch the bolts, and I had to grab my heavier 1/2" CP gun instead. This is going back to the store tomorrow, and I'll probably end up buying the IR TiMax gun instead, even though it's 5x the price. If it actually works, it will be well worth the extra whereas this thing is just a paperweight. On the positive side, it's light, quiet and appears to be well assembled. On the negative side, I think my compact 3/8" air ratchet may put out more torque, making this completely useless to me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lightweight Nice lightweight tool - produces good torque. I rated if 4 stars because it feels less rugged, but so far it works great. Good value for the price, but does not feel like an industrial rugged tool.
