I needed a 3/8"-drive socket for my motorcycle's rear axle & this socket filled the bill. I'd rather buy a U.S. produced tool, but the price on this socket was hard to beat. I also like the large, easy-to-read lettering.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by justthefacts Great Value, better than most box store sockets
Since ratchets have navigated to 72 tooth versions or higher, these 6pt sockets are the way to go. Access is much less of an issue than it used to be. Additionally these are made by APEX, who also makes Matco stuff too (along with others such as Gearwrench, etc.) There's a picture of a dual stamped Husky/Silver Eagle (ie Matco) floating out there on the web. For the price, these are almost impossible to beat.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by HardNut It is what it is
I bought a socket. I got a socket. It did not change my life or raise my standard of living. It loosened the nut I needed loosening. It sits in my toolbox now. It may sit there for 43 more years waiting to be useful again. If you have an obscure size nut to loosen, I would recommend this obscure size socket.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by WCB88 Perfect for Yakima rack on an Xterra hitch
I have an Xterra and my Yakima rack is held on by a 15/16 bolt. Due to the way an Xterra hitch is made, the Yakima tool or standard wrench will not work. The best solution, in my opinion, is a 15/16 socket and wrench. Since most standard socket sets only go up to 13/16, I needed to order this. It works perfectly and I can install my rack in a matter of seconds now.
