Answer:
The feet are magnetic, if you take them off the pegs would slide off because the end bracket is integral. The short answer is no.

Jeff, The magnets can be removed. To remove, flip the rail over, remove the 2 screws holding the silver end cap on he rail. Then remove the plastic cap from the magnet, and remove the non-marring tape from the magnet. On one side you will see a 5/16 nut, on the other side you will see a Philips head screw. Remove this screw and the magnet will slide free. Reinstall the silver end cap to the rail and you Read More

If no holders available, are we supposed to junk a $25 unit because a 2-cent plastic part breaks? (I have two.)

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Found extra posts. Not perfect but works well. You can get the extra posts at http://www.eastwood.com/eastwood-3-8-inch-socket-holder.html they are blue. I have only tried the 3/8" but they fit, will be trying the 1/4" next. Home Depot should sell the extra posts in store with the organizers, it would make it easier. August 11, 2016

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Husky magnetic socket rails Hi, same here, need more individual socket holders, especially 1/4 inch ,way too much empty rail,I'd like to purchase them seperate,as to add more sockets November 19, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Studs for rail Love the rail but one flaw not enough studs. They should at least package studs maybe 2 or 4 to pack and sell. I can fit 8 to 10 more studs to this set. So really it's kinda useless to not have all my tools with me. August 27, 2015
