What can I say at my age sometimes you need to re tool. These ball hex bits get right in the nut and make turning almost effortless. Made my day doing a thankless job.

The ball ends loose the edge to hold the bolt quickly but they still work.

Just added these to my tool box. These are great for those hard to reach spots that are also a little off angle to the driver (ie. the ball tip design). The tips seem to hold up well. Do note that because of the long length, they will twist a bit so they cannot get screws REALLY tight. They do a good job for certain uses though and because of this, I bought this SAE AND the Metric set. Pick the right tool for the right job!
Standard 3/8" drive.

Normal allen keys simply don't always do the job. They are either too short, too long, or you can't get a good grip on them. And if the fitting is really tight, you can't get enough leverage. With these sockets, as long as you can get them into the bolt head, you can use any 3/8 drive extension and swivel or just add a pipe to the end of your socket wrench. I had to change a gasket in my air powered flooring nailer, and this is the exact tool that is needed because of the tight location and the torque of the bolts. These are a higher grade of steel than regular allen keys and should last me a lifetime. These are six inches long and really help to get them into recessed bolts or in tight spaces. Sizes include 1/8, 5/32, 3/16, 1/4, 5/16, and 3/8. The plastic socket holder will keep the set together in a drawer, but I would like the option to hang the set from my peg board too and would like the bar a little long with a hole for hanging. Lifetime warranty, but the sizes are a bit hard to read for my older eyes and no colored stripe for SAE versus Metric.
