Answer:
Hi Zorro, a die grinder is use with stone or other burring accessories. You grind burrs off metal. or grind a surface smooth after welding.
These are just a couple of things a die grinder is used for.

Customer Reviews

Rated 3.7 out of 5 by 11 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Long lasting performance for small investment I have purchased over 30 of the model 4822 over the last ten years. We use these tools in a heavy industrial environment, not exactly what the tool was designed for. When we had a flurry of trigger failures we discovered that someone had bypassed our regulator and applied 150psi to our air system. When oiled twice a day, and run at 90psi, we get over 3 - 4 years of non-stop 8 hours a day performance from these drills. Do the math - over 6,000 hours for $50!! I rated the quality as "good" instead of "excellent" because the tool will not withstand high pressure. Most air systems are capable of unregulated pressures of 125 - 175 psi so in many cases the tool could be exposed to high pressure resulting in failure. February 4, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 3/8 inch air drill this 3/8 " drill is way past worth the money i paid for it ! i am a motorcycle tech. all types and i work full time as a fleet mechanic for con-way freight .i purchase a lot of tools . the husky brand is proving to be as good as any of them ,its easy and light weight to use .i do have another 3/8 husky drill i purchased 8 yrs ago and it still works great .this newer one is built to be more user friendly . Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by good value, but I purchased this air drill on sale and it works just fine. Good enough for impromptu drilling needs in the shop. My only complaint is no keyless chuck. What do you do with the chuck key? No place to put it. If you hang it on the air fitting it will be in the way. July 2, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great deal for the money It was by chance that I was able to buy these at a great price ( half off) when I needed it. They have plenty of torque and work great August 21, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great for the Price - But . . . . Tool is great - but needs keyless chuck to be exceptional September 24, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Bargain I've used the drill a few times. Good deal for the money. The only issue I have is that the trigger is sometimes a little "sticky". August 13, 2013
