I always have owned just a regular toolbox however recently I inherited a number of tools and began looking at chests. The prices were way over my budget and just when I was going to buy a 4 drawer craftsman I came across this Husky. This is an unbelievable deal at $29.99 and serves as an actual tool chest rather than a tool box for me. I was so satisfied that I bought one for my basement workbench and one for the garage. Now I can easily access my tools in an orderly fashion rather than digging through a toolbox. The sliding drawers even have wheel bearings and they easily lock once the chest is secured. This deal is at least $40.00 cheaper than competitors and has enough amenities that I would not even consider a named brand. In fact I bought 2 of these for the price of one at Sears. Don't be fooled by the low price this is a quality tool chest that I highly recommend! It has 3 drawers and a top that opens with a retractable compartment.

Perfect size and weight for what we needed. We live in an apartment so we needed something small but had good storage

This is an outstanding toolbox for the price, which today was $30. It's well built, and the ball bearing drawers slide very nicely. As long as you push them all the way in past the detent, they lock when the lid is down. Sears has similar but inferior toolboxes that don't come anywhere close to this on value. My only complaint (and it's minor) is that sometimes you have to push on both ends of the drawers to get both ends past the detent so the top lid can lock them.
I also bought a $6 roll of cushioned shelf liner from the cabinet section of the store and was able to cut drawer liners for all 5 compartments in this box.

This is a great value! The three drawers have bearing slides. Though shallow, they are perfect for my small hand tools. I had to make dividers to keep the phillips and flat screwdrivers separate in the top drawer. In the second drawer I divided up the pliers, cutter, stippers, etc. Drawer three, is for sockets and such, with Metric and SAE separated. The width of this tool chest is a perfect match for the top of my larger Kennedy tolling box. I've been using this for over a month now, and having the tools organized is a big productivity boost. Wish I'd bought this years ago.
Only a minor defect in the paint. A spot 1/4" chipped off because of rust underneath.

The drawers feel like they might cause a problem later on, but everything else on this unit feels solid. Dig the colors.
