This jack stand has no crank, and it is difficult to release once under pressure under the car.

Ever since I purchased my first car back in the 70's I have changed the oil & worked underneath my vehicles without using jack stands [ yeah, I know - VERY STUPID ]. It took a lot of years to wise up, but I finally purchased this set of Husky Jack Stands, and was quite impressed with the build quality at a small price point. Easily supported the weight of our 2015 Ford Escape, and I have to admit that while under the SUV I felt totally at ease while performing the maintenance. A great purchase that I would highly recommend.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by rick They do what they are supposed to do.
They did what they were supposed to do and held my truck in the air while I put new brakes on it. The only complaint I have is that the chain broke that holds one of the safety pins to the jack. This does not effect the way the jack functions in any way.

Very sturdy and easy to use nice size and weight you can't go wrong buying these jack stands. Great price. Use them the same day I purchase to replace my whole front suspension on my 1996 Lincoln towncar, save over 1000 bucks doing it my self. Thank god for these jack stands!!!

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by RMH It does what it is supposed to
Does what it is designed to do heavy duty. Only complaint is the release places your hand to close to the pinch point you won't forget it once you experience it :)
