Rated 4 out of 5 by It works, just not what I expected This is my first compressor that I've bought. I thought all compressors were the same. I recently got a leak on my roof and decided to purchased it to clean out the loose roofing paper gravel so I could place a white reflective silicone sealant (kinda use the compressor like a sweeper/blower). The unit is light, about 40 pounds, so it was easy to hoist it to the flat roof. It was extremely easy to get it going (I read the owner's manual, cause I'm like that). I was a little disappointed with its CFM / output performance. I always had the idea that any compressor would blow a large amount of air. Not this one. Then again, after stepping back and looking at it and comparing it with other larger units, it's only able to perform as it's size implies. So instead of taking it back to the store, I decided to keep it for future, light duty chores. I was able to "sweep" the living room portion of the roof (about 320 SF) and seal it with the white reflective silicone sealer. I've decided that if I need a more powerful compressor, I'll just rent one. As for now, I have three more roof sections I need to tackle so I have to look into getting a leaf blower.
