Answer:
Yes, I've used a circular saw, table saw, and a hand saw to cut the track to length. I have several long runs between metal posts which do not end evenly with 48" sections, so I've had to trim the last sections. I've had not problem cutting

Answer:
Yes. Tracks are plastic, so any hand or power saw will work. Just make sure you still have sufficient supports (studs) to hold the weight once you hang the track..

Answer:
I don't see why not. I installed the whole board but if you have a good saw, you should be able to cut it no problem.

Answer:
Yes. I have cut them to fit the space in my garage. I have also used small pieces separated by space. As long as they are properly affixed to the type of wall on which you are hanging them, they will work well.

Answer:
Hi Lazyman,
You really need to use concrete screws to fasten the Track Wall to the concrete walls.
No where in the instructions does it state to use adhesive. Even if you did, it would most likely fail and void any warranty you have with it. Plus, it would create an even bigger issue than if you just fastened it right the first time.

This track system appears to be discontinued. Are hooks and attachments still available anywhere, or are there compatible products?

Rated 3.1 out of 5 by 39 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Workshop Makeover I have mixed feelings about recommending given stock seems to be a hit an miss lately. Looking for the connectors and these don't appear to be online any more. Went out to local store to get several more packs of track. I've half a 40' x 60' steel barn that I'm insulating and then covering with 1/2" chipboard. On that I've been installing secure track (about 6 rows of track all along the perimeter. To those tacks I've Husky Cabinets hanging. These contain a variety of tools (biscuit jointer, sanders, sharpening tools, etc.) and supplies (glue, stain, sand paper). The project has been in progress over the past two years --so far the defects people have talked about (strength to hold heavy loads) I haven't had issue with. I did however use more screws to attach each track than minimum suggested. I have two screws about every 6". This seems to give a solid connection to the chipboard. September 14, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sturdy, inexpensive, gets the job done. That's the power... I got lucky with these on clearance for 30-40% off. Six tracks and four hanging accessories for $60. For those who don't seem to quite get how to install these...use a drill! I cut mine to a custom size and drilled four, three inch white wooden screws (from Husky, designed especially for these tracks) and voila! Drill right into the studs. It'll make a huge difference. Drill baby, drill! January 30, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect For Garage Makeover The Husky Secure Lock Track Wall is easy to install and looks great. November 17, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by DO NOT BUY THIS TRACK!!! Does not support the rated weight. Specs for the track indicate 75 lbs per linear foot (that is 300 lbs for a 4-ft long section); specs for the bike holder indicate 35 lbs. I hanged four bikes total weight less than 130 lb and the heavier bike is 33 lb. THE TRACK BROKE IN LESS THAN A MONTH!!! To make things worse the bikes fell on top of the minivan. December 12, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Solid product, but could use some minor improvements This track system is extremely easy to install and very simple to use. Also very versatile with the variety of optional hooks and accessories you can buy to hook into the track. They also attach easily with the twist of a knob. A few things I didn't like is that it doesn't come with any connectors, so if you want to buy multiple pieces of track, you have to also buy the connectors separately at an inflated price. Would be nice if it at least came with one. One other thing is that so far it seems to be holding on fine, but I wish the track pieces were a bit more rigid or had a way to fasten the center. They bend slightly in the middle when you start to hang anything to it away from the ends, and not even anything overly heavy. Overall a good system but could use some improvements. January 16, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice but pricey I have looked at a lot of track systems for my garage and these are by far the best looking I found. They are easy to install and really helped with my garage clutter. With 6 tracks I have been able to get most all the gardening stuff up off the floor and easily accessible. I am going to install a couple more for haning motorcycle gear and a couple of other things. The only complaint I have is that I think the hooks and accesories are priced about 2 dollars too much per accessory. August 19, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy install and looks great! This is the best purchase I have ever made for my garage! The install was simple as well as bracket placement being simple! My garage is extremely organized bc of the amount of equipment I have thrown up on it!! This is a must buy.... Worth every penny! March 25, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Nearly Junk I have been using the Husky Securelock system in my garage for about 6 months. I purchased it instead of the pricier Rubbermaid system, thinking that I preferred the selection of hooks, etc. -- and the lower price. Big mistake! The attachments are not secure -- nor do they lock.. The little cam locks do not even contact the track wall. This is particularly problematic with the S-hooks (THD201), as you have to apply side pressure to put a tool in or out of the S-hook, and the S-hooks just slide back and forth on the track. If you try to hang something (e.g., pick or mattock) that fits snugly on the short utility hook (THD202), the hook comes off the track with the tool when you take it down. If you want "secure" from this system, be ready to drill some holes, and screw the hooks to the track. Another problem with the S-hooks is that the foam covering is so hard and slick that any tool with a smooth handle will often just slide down and out of the hook -- worse in cool temperatures. I do like the large capacity hook (THD206) for hanging my line trimmer. While I am usually very happy with my purchases from Home Depot, this system is pretty close to junk. February 22, 2014
