I bought this Husky took chest and cabinet with 10 super smooth sliding drawers from my local Home Depot for a great price ($298). It was brought out to my truck in two boxes and they helped me load it since it is very heavy. When I got it home I inspected it for damage after removing from the packaging and I am happy to report it was in mint condition. It took me about 30 minutes to get it all set up and ready to load with tools. Like previous reviewers have stated you might want to think about getting some drawer liners to put in the cabinet. I had plenty of room to put in my basic tools and there was even space to put in some of my power tools. The cabinet is very sturdy, looks great, and is the best deal around for a DIYer or weekend mechanic. Now I am off to buy more tools with the money I saved.

I researched tool chest after tool chest from Lowes, Harbor Freight, Craigslist, Sears and Home Depot and for the money I am very happy with this chest that I bought from Home Depot. The drawers are filled with tools and they still slide nice. It was very easy to assemble. I took the advice of the other reviews and inspected it before I left the store (mine didnt have any dents or issues). I assembled it within 20 minutes, lined the drawers and filled it up. It took me longer to cut up the cardboard for my recycle bin and put all the styrofoam in the garbage pail than it did to put it together. Very satisfied with my purchase, cant find a better box for 350 dollars.

Very happy with the layout of this unit. Just over 5 ft high, with an opening top that really maximizes your vertical space in a small garage, About the entire unit is drawer space, more small drawers (5) than medium (4) and large 10in (1), so there is a good variety... but if you are looking for power tool storage, it might not be a perfect fit. Otherwise it is a great setup for the home garage.
About the only issue I had was the locks seem inconsistent. A couple of the top drawers would lock, even with the lockset unlocked. Opening and closing the top resets the locks, so it's not a big deal. Just thought I'd mention it. If you need to be locking and unlocking the drawers a lot, it could be inconvenient.
I did have mine shipped. While that is an expensive option, I did notice complaints about the stock in some stores. Mine arrived with a plywood crate surrounding the typical cardboard box with Styrofoam edges. Very solid packaging, and not a scratch or dent in the entire unit.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Weez great box for the price!!! i love it:)
well i been working hard for the last 2yrs at the body shop i work for. I was time to treat myself to a new tool box. i spent weeks doing reasearch and finding the best box in my price range i was getting ready to go to HF when i came across this box. first off, lets keep it real, your are not going to get a 7000 dollar box for 300. so to all you guys complaining about this box, what do you expect for 300. this box is great for what i need it to do (sit there, look pretty and hold my tools) setup is easy casters are good drawers are ok. my only issue was the locks. got to push on the drawers for all them to lock. thats it. Ooh before you install the drawers, add additional white grease on the ball barings and tracks for your drawers to close smoother. not neccessary, buy our A- tech said company never puts enough grease on the barings. once my box was all together and filled, all the body guys in my shop with the big money tool boxes said it looks great and was a good deal.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Aayan offers ample room to store a wide range of tools
The tool chest shipped in two sealed plywood crates. Out of the box, every inch of the chest was in absolutely mint condition with no scratches or dents.
I had to assemble four casters and a side handle by laying it flat on its back which I thought would be a 5 minute task. However, it took me about 20 minutes just to install casters. The rings inside the holes where bolts were to be screwed in had imperfection. I had to struggle through it to screw the bolts in. Wrench provided with the package was not sturdy at all to finish the assembly. I used my own wrench to install regular caster which had some room on the side but swivel casters had no side room because of brakes which made it really hard to screw the bolts in.
Top chest sits on top of rolling cabinet and is attached with 4 sturdy brackets.
Once assembled, I tested the top and bottom locks and found that the top chest drawers do not open even though I had not locked it yet. I knew I had followed the manual but no matter what I did, it would not open any of the top drawers. Finally I gave up and opened the top lid to put the keys back in. For the last time I gave it another try and then it opened just fine. Thatâs when I realized that the top drawers are un-locked the moment I open the top lid. Manual says that you just turn the keys toward left and that locks the chest. I called the Manufacturer to confirm if closing the lid is the way to lock the top drawers, they confirmed it. The top lock is only to lock the lid itself. Also make sure that drawers are PUSHED all the way in before locking the chest or locking mechanism will not work.
All 10 drawers are 35 ½â wide and 15 ½â in depth. Top chestâs top 3 drawers are 2â high and 4th is 2 ½â. Bottom cabinetâs top 2 drawers are 2â high, 3rd is 2 ½â, 4th is 3 ½â, 5th is 4â and the bottom drawer is 8â high.
I am pleased with overall construction of the chest. Finish is high-end and it certainly offers ample room to store a wide range of tools. I bought commercial grade liner for the drawersâ base to keep them scratch free. My tools found a new home, they are happy and so am I. Considering what it costs and the storage it provides, I am all for it.
