I purchased this on-line and picked up from the store. They had 6 units on-site. All of them had some degree of damage. I got the least damaged they had. It is fairly decent but has one drawer that sticks and it difficult to open. Also, the locks do not work well.
Of the other 5 store units on-hand, 3 were damaged beyond usability and the last 2 were barely there. To me it looks like these came from the factory this way. Four of the six units all had pristine packaging. Steer clear unless you have the time and patience to open the unit at the store to inspect it. If it's undamaged, Snag it and run. It's a really good deal if, and only if, there's no damage.

I researched tool chest after tool chest from Lowes, Harbor Freight, Craigslist, Sears and Home Depot and for the money I am very happy with this chest that I bought from Home Depot. The drawers are filled with tools and they still slide nice. It was very easy to assemble. I took the advice of the other reviews and inspected it before I left the store (mine didnt have any dents or issues). I assembled it within 20 minutes, lined the drawers and filled it up. It took me longer to cut up the cardboard for my recycle bin and put all the styrofoam in the garbage pail than it did to put it together. Very satisfied with my purchase, cant find a better box for 350 dollars.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beachbums Wow...what an awesome surprise!
I received an email from Home Depot for the "Special Buy of the Day" and it was this tool box. I've been looking at tool chests for a while...I wanted to surprise my husband with one at Christmas. So after reading several reviews, I decided to order it online. It only took a little more than a week to be delivered to our house. First of all... the process of ordering and the delivery was great. The tool chest was delivered by a delivery company (not UPS or FedEX) that was professional and on time! He had my husband unpack the toolbox to make sure it was in perfect condition, which it was! The chest was all assembled except the casters had to be installed and the angle irons to attach the upper box with the lower box...and really that only took about 30 minutes or less. My husband was completely surprised and impressed with the quality for the price. We looked at several other tool boxes that were the same price or more than this Husky and he just wasn't happy with the quality...and the size of the ones we looked at were a lot smaller. He kept saying during the time he was unpacking the boxes...Wow, I can't believe how big this is...what did you pay for this? What can I say other than he loves his Husky toolbox!!!!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by ecirbob Great Price reasonable quality
First one I brought home was badly dented and I had to lug it back to HD. Steve at the store was fantastic. They found another one but that one was also dented. Finally took the floor model with 10% off. Set it up lined the draws with liner from harbor freight (HD does not sell liners) and my tools have a nice new home. It is by far the best deal I found on a tool cabinet this size. The metal is very thin but as long as you plan to keep it stationalry and not commercial use it is the best vaue for the money.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by OverlandParkKS Great tool chest and cabinet, amazing price!
I bought this Husky took chest and cabinet with 10 super smooth sliding drawers from my local Home Depot for a great price ($298). It was brought out to my truck in two boxes and they helped me load it since it is very heavy. When I got it home I inspected it for damage after removing from the packaging and I am happy to report it was in mint condition. It took me about 30 minutes to get it all set up and ready to load with tools. Like previous reviewers have stated you might want to think about getting some drawer liners to put in the cabinet. I had plenty of room to put in my basic tools and there was even space to put in some of my power tools. The cabinet is very sturdy, looks great, and is the best deal around for a DIYer or weekend mechanic. Now I am off to buy more tools with the money I saved.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Edward Great Tool-chest
This is a great tool-chest, especially for the price. It is very practical and it looks great.
It has a variety of drawer heights (five 3.25'' drawers, two 4.25'' drawers, two 5.25'' drawers, one 9.25'' drawer, and the top shelf which is 4.25'' tall). In the interior, all the drawers are 35.5'' wide, and the drawers in the top unit are 16.5'' deep while the drawers in the bottom unit are 15.5'' deep.
All the drawers glide smoothly, and they out-stop at the full drawer depth -- meaning that when you pull the drawer out to it's stopping point, the entire drawer is accessible for placing things in.
There are only two minor drawbacks about this tool-chest. First, despite the packaging being undamaged, the unit had some dents (the worst dent in mine was 0.75'' near the top drawer -- see the attached image) which are rather visible given its shiny black powder-coat paint job. Second, the adhesive on the stickers attached to the exterior of the tool-chest was really difficult to remove and clean up.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by sdgiant Perfect for a DYI Garage
Very happy with the layout of this unit. Just over 5 ft high, with an opening top that really maximizes your vertical space in a small garage, About the entire unit is drawer space, more small drawers (5) than medium (4) and large 10in (1), so there is a good variety... but if you are looking for power tool storage, it might not be a perfect fit. Otherwise it is a great setup for the home garage.
About the only issue I had was the locks seem inconsistent. A couple of the top drawers would lock, even with the lockset unlocked. Opening and closing the top resets the locks, so it's not a big deal. Just thought I'd mention it. If you need to be locking and unlocking the drawers a lot, it could be inconvenient.
I did have mine shipped. While that is an expensive option, I did notice complaints about the stock in some stores. Mine arrived with a plywood crate surrounding the typical cardboard box with Styrofoam edges. Very solid packaging, and not a scratch or dent in the entire unit.
