I picked up two of these. I had to organize a shed with a ton of small and medium items.
The installation was simple. One tool. The rubber hammer.
I stopped after the first one to load it up then built the second one. Then loaded that one.
Two hours tops for all the loading and the building of the racks.
I hear people complaining about the wire mesh shelves. I bought pre-cut wooden shelves right at the Depot. when I bought the units.
They sit right on the wire shelf and are inside the lip of the shelf.
Yes that add's to the cost, but without the wooden shelves I'd have hated the wire because of the holes.
Now I have the wire shelf as extra support below the wood. Perfect marriage between the two.
They are solid and sturdy. Mine will be there for a long time to come.

Simple installation with a rubber mallet. Took me and my son about 30 minutes to put it together. The heavy gauge wire shelves are well designed for carrying a lot of weight and sag very little when under load. The only downside is the spacing of the wire itself, (it's made of 4" x 2" rectangles). The spacing is so large that narrow items like a can of spray paint can't stand upright. Home Depot also sells 48" x 24" pre-cut plywood panels. I bought one sheet of the quarter inch plywood (Lauan Handypanel) for about 7 bucks and it dropped right onto my third shelf for my tall narrow items. It was a prefect fit, no trimming needed. See photo.

I didn't want to cheap out on storage shelves for our basement, so we went with the Husky shelves. These shelves feel tough enough to last a long long time, so I'm glad we opted for these. I love that you can adjust the shelves. We use big Rubbermaid tubs for storage right now, so I was able to set each shelf height to accommodate them.
The only downer is that some of the wire shelves seem to be cut a tiny bit off or bent way too much. I can see why you'd want some kind of initial bend in it so you can place it on the frame bowing upwards in anticipation of placing heavy items on it, but some of them took a few pounds of the hammer to get into place. Speaking of which, make sure you have a rubber mallet or a block of wood to protect the shelves as you hammer them into place.
So while the fit is kinda wonky for some shelves, I'd still buy these again if we ever need more storage. The cheaper ones would probably work for our needs, but I can't predict what the future holds, and I'd rather have something sturdy that will transition to our next home, rather than buy something to last us a few years just to trash it when we move.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by countrygirl Wonderful product!! I will soon be buying a second!
Good quality, easy assembly. I put this shelf together in less than an hour. I did need a hammer to get the uprights together, but otherwise only needed a rubber mallet. Holds LOTS of stuff.
