We purchased this Husky shelving unit for basement storage. We wanted something long lasting and sturdy enough to hold heavy boxes. It's a bit pricier than some of the other shelving units, but stronger than many of the wire frame or plastic options and does not have particle board shelving inserts that may not hold up as well in damp basements. Adjustable shelving meant we could fit our plastic tubs. Assembly was easy. A great buy!

I was able to put this shelving unit together, without assistance from anyone, in about 30 minutes and it holds tons of stuff. I was happy with the quality and happy with the price.
Now we can easily store all our stuff and still have room to park our cars in the garage.

I originally bought 2 of these storage racks, went back to Home Depot and bought 2 more. They are easy to transport and set up. I recommend that you make sure each piece fits snugly and tight. I used a small sledge hammer and a rubber mallet to tap them together.

I had purchased a couple different types of shelves for our shipping department over the years, and found myself needing 3 more a few months back. I was hoping to find something sturdier this time but still keep the cost reasonable. I stopped at Lowes and then Home Depot, and while at Home Depot I came across this particular model. I purchased 3 and took them back to the warehouse and set them up - they were awesome - I rate those particular ones as EXCELLENT!
I suppose if I rated them EXCELLENT I should have chosen that option in the "Quality" line, but I couldn't. After bragging on this model to everyone that seen them, and encouraging people to purchase this model, I found I spoke too soon. Me and my wife stopped at Home Depot in Garland, TX to purchase 5 more and I was shocked. On the first 3 shelves purchased the shelf wire rods going the 18" direction had 13 rods on top and 7 rods on the bottom (one each of these 7 rods were located on each side at the bottom) making the shelves really stable. On the 5 new shelves there are 13 rods on top and only 4 on the bottom (and of the 4 bottom rods none are on the bottom of each side).
You would think the extra 3 rods on the bottom of the shelf wouldn't matter but it does. Each of the new wire shelves were very warped when I removed them from the boxes, unlike the shelves on the first 3 I purchased. Furthermore without the rod on each side at the bottom of the shelf the ends of the shelve bow down, so if you decide to put something like a stack of DVD's on them the stack will slide to the outside and fall. I suppose I could flip the shelves over, but only having 4 rods on the top of the shelf (vs. 13) makes it harder to level certain types of product. I suppose saving 22' 5" of the shelf rod material per unit is a good thing for your bottom line, but unfortunately it leaves me looking for another EXCELLENT shelf.
