Is this light waterproof/weatherproof?

Asked by: Den501
No it is not waterproof, I would say weather resistant but NOT waterproof and can not be submerged! Would recommend you look for dive lamps if you need water protected lamps. Hope this helps!

I want to provide ambient up lighting for a 13x 12 foot area. How many of these lamps would I need?

Lamps will be placed on the floor.
Asked by: Cjanepaint
For your square footage you would want four lights to light it at livingroom level.

Looking for a replacement cord for my light

Asked by: Adobie
You can find replacement cords in the electrical department. Or if you don't want to go out cut a cord off of an old TV when taking it to the trash. Whatever you do under no circumstances should you cut the end off of your neighbors extension cord.

Does this model have replacement bulbs for sale?

I have a few of these lights that no longer work. We use them pressure washing in industrial settings.. Just curious if a replacement bulb can be purchased instead of throwing out the whole light
Asked by: SES
No, the LED itself is like a chip soldered in place, so they are not designed for replacement.

5 ft. 800-Lumen Portable LED Work Light is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 17.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Failed Light was awesome while it worked. After about 5 months of limited use the light will not stay on for more than 15 seconds. Very disappointing.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not as bright It looks like it would take the place of a typical 300 watt spotlight, but the light it gives off is the same as a 60 watt light bulb. I feel for the price it would be better to pick up the $7.99 clamp light and a Cree 60 watt equivalent LED bulb. It is nice that its cool to the touch so its kid safe, but the last few job sites I was on didn't have kids running around. For doing paint work I recommend the 300 watt version and just be careful not to touch the HOT cover.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Blinks I have several of these lights. After one year or less they have all started to blink on and off. I have tried to purchase a replacement LED driver but have not had any luck in finding it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Work Light Lights up a room decently. Maybe not quite enough for high detail work, but fine for general trade use. I'm always needing light deep into attics and crawlspaces, so the fact that these do not get hot to the touch was my prime motivation for grabbing it, as I've brushed up against a blistering hot quartz light far too many times. Quality seems pretty decent, and it's very compact for what it is. Rated at 15w consumption, it literally costs about 2/1000's of a penny per hour to run, or approximately $16 if you were to run it 24/7 for an entire year!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from early failure Early failure of 5 FT. 800-LUMEN PORTABLE LED WORK LIGHT. After a month of use, the light started flickering and ultimately failing. NOT ECO Friendly NOR A GOOD VALUE IF MTBF is less than 200 hrs. and it does not last a month. Switch is finicky yet not source of my failure.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from failed in less than 1 year power supply failed rather quickly and apparently no replacement parts are available. if I could get parts for less than the cost of a replacement I would buy more of these. nice light while it worked, but I expect better durability.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Work Light! I have been using this light for the last few months and has been a very good work light! The light is very bright and does not get hot like the other lights I have purchased. I have used this light under the kitchen and bathrooms cabinets to work on some plumbing issues and has been great to have! Because of its small size, you can put it in the corner of the cabinet and stays stable on it's base. The LED puts out really nice white light that is way better than a regular fluorescent or incandescent bulb. Outstanding work light, I highly recommend it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bright, cold, rugged Hard to believe that 15 Watts can produce such bright light. Very little heat - no burns. I accidentally dropped it a few times. A filament light would have failed. This lamp kept on shining. Good price. A screw to mount it on a tripod would be nice.
