6 in. Pneumatic Dual-Action Sander is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from New tools that don't work well Very poor quality tool, had to replace o-rings on air control valve before using. Not enough power at rated psi

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful Tool - ruined my day I am restoring a 53 truck and was half way through sanding my hood. 30 minutes in. This sander lets loose of oil/grease and spits all over the nice job I was doing. I only used 2 drops of lubricant as directed- the seals let loose and juiced up my hood. It says to run at 90 PSI but this thing seems like it cannot handle 90 psi. Worse tool ever bought - I will not purchase another Husky anything.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This product works well for us in one application We use this product in a met fab shop and it does the job, but just does not last as long as we would like.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Avoid at all costs I bought this sander on my way home one night for use the next day in another town. I used it less than an hour and it locked up tight. Brought it back to another HD for replacement and within a few hours it also locked up. I could understand if I had not oiled it but I followed all the rules on this one. Husky DA sanders are just plain JUNK.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from stopped working after about 16 hours of use. I purchased this about two years ago. In that time I have used it for a few jobs. I have a table that needed to be sanded down so I got a few really rough disks and went at it. After about two hours of sanding it started spitting oil out. After several more hours of sanding it spits oil and has lost all of its power. When I first started using it the sander performed perfectly but its ready for the trash now. I know the tool has no more than 16 hours of use on it probably more like eight hours of use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Dual Action Sander Works great but make sure you have a large enough air compressor or you will spend some time waiting.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not a tool for heavy duty sanding. I bought this sander a few months ago, but used it for the first time today to sand down a large, smooth log that had been debarked with a draw knife. The sander worked like a trooper, sanding as expected for the first couple of hours. Then it started slowing down and stopping intermittently. It finally quit all together after four hours, with only half the project completed. Now all the sander does is give out is a weak whip of air along with some oil seeps, but no turning action. The compressor is at 90 psi, and instructions were followed regarding oiling. Not a sander I would recommend. We will take it back and see how HD handles the 2 yr warranty. It was purchased online, so we'll see if the local store can deal with this situation. Also, I had to go to another source for 6" sanding disks as HD does not carry them.
