I like it a lot. So far i've had no problem. Some have said they had problems with the locks. This one is doin fine i'm a cement mason, and my box gets opened and closed at lest 10 to 15 times a day.

I'm an electrician and open and close the box approx 10 times a day. I immediately started having trouble with the opening mechanisms the handles wouldnt open the lid and one of the keys holes does not like to turn with the key. I managed to smash the lid when I loaded 400lbs of pipe on it so it is strong. But I would not recommend if you want the box to open everytime. I finally disabled the pull handles and added a padlock system

Trouble with both locks immediately, one broke altogether, the other key doesn't quite fit, takes a lot of force and jiggling, if I had paid full price I would be sorely dissappointed

This tool box has a beautiful diamond plated design. I wanted something that didn't rust. The welds are smooth and strong. This 5' box is 19" high and 19" wide. There is more than enough room inside for all my tools and then some. There is so much room that I have even put my groceries inside of it. You can open the door latches from either end of the tool box. The locking mechanisms appear to be very strong and secure. The box comes with 2 keys. The shocks / struts open the lid very well and it's easy to close the lid with little effort. I mounted this on my truck with no drill hardware. It didn't take me long at all. I have stood and sat on the box for extended periods of time and it didn't even flex or dent. The tool box looks great on my truck and I'm sure it will last for many many years. So if you are looking for a large size truck box that is secure and doesn't leak, then this is it...

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by sacherjj Good box with minor cosmetic issues
For those that don't know, this type of box requires two holes to be drilled into the truck bed. I have a truck tent and wanted to switch to this style of box to free up that sides of the truck for either racks or truck tents.
This box has an offset for the lid, so it can open with the box installed flush against the cab side of the truck bed.
I am very impressed with the latching of this box. With many toolboxes, it is often difficult to get both sides to latch up without pushing down on each side. This is one of the better operating boxes I've used. The included guard also eliminates issues I've run into where something inside shifts against the opening mechanism.
The outside fit and finish is pretty good. My only complaint is on the rear of the lid, with some pop-rivets that needed some work. I was worried about security, but the edge hinge is also welded. So cutting the pop-rivets would not give access to the box. This edge is mostly hidden in the truck bed, so this is a minor thing.
I would have given this box 5 stars, but the one I received had some fairly deep scratches in the bottom of the aluminum on the inside. I hope they are not deep enough to weaken the bottom. I've found that putting tools directly into the bottom of an aluminum box is asking to cover everything in black aluminum oxide dust. I will be tacking in some type of liner, so this is also minor to me. However, it does indicate a lack of careful handling of the raw sheet aluminum.
If these two defects were not present, this would be a 5 star box. I expect that this would be the case on most of these out there.
