Answer:
Indeed it can. Just break it down and move. You might want to use a rubber mallet/dead blow hammer to get the shelving loose from the uprights if its been there awhile. But should come apart fairly easy. Just remember to gather the clips if you went two high and put them in a place you will remember.

Answer:
Yes, would not be a problem to take it apart and set it up again someplace else. The only thing you really need to take it apart/put it together is a rubber mallet.

Answer:
Yes it can be taken apart as it is just the reverse of the assembly and just as easy. You would need to take a rubber mallet to release the pins from the vertical structure. I would advise 2 people would make the task easiest.

Answer:
Yes. It's a little less work to knock it apart than it is to assemble it. The "shelves" (aka wire grids) just lift out.

Answer:
The end posts should have the support from the bottom shelf placed so that only one mounting hole is below that bottom shelf. The posts could easily be damaged by a bump of any extended lenght at the bottom.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy assembly !!! Able to accept heavy loads . Substantial steel construction NO PLASTIC October 25, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sturdy & Look Great They seem to be sturdy and look great in my garage! October 18, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great shelf for the money It was easy to assemble this shelf. The time from unloading the shelf to completely assembled was less then an hour. I assembled so that the sides and back of the shelves had a lip. The front flush so its easy to put things on shelf and take them off. I highly recommend this, for whatever my opinion is worth. :) October 8, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent shelves The shelves were easy to set up and are sturdy. Just what I needed. October 4, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sturdy, Great Size It was easy to review this product- the specs, assembly instructions and reviews- and easy to order on line. Store locator helped me to know how many were in stock, which was important because I needed the shelves pronto. And it was correct! I needed someone else to pick it up for me and that all went smoothly too. Overall a great experience. October 4, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Strong, easy to assemble Very strong, sturdy. Easy to assemble, but takes time until you get the sequence. Lots of parts are well packed, box is heavy. October 11, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Well Made & Easy to Assemble! Absolutely Great! I find it hard to reconcile the poor reviews (3 stars or less) that 1 in 5 reviewers gave this unit. Perhaps the manufacturer's quality control is faulty and 1 in 5 units is defective. Perhaps some units are damaged in shipping (The box is a bit flimsy considering that it contains 90 pounds of loose steel). Perhaps the unit I purchased is different from those sold in the past. Perhaps Home Depot is putting damaged returned units back on the shelf. I don't know. What I do know is that the unit I purchased was in a fully intact box containing all of the required pieces. Nothing was bent or scratched. The instructions (which I found unnecessary) were clear and well written. Working by myself with a hammer and short step ladder, I leisurely assembled the shelves in 30 minutes (including 5 minutes spent deciding shelf heights). There was no need to use zip ties to hold the parts together or a screwdriver to pry the connectors open. Everything fit perfectly. It was a delight to assemble. I have put 500 pounds on a shelf without a problem. I think it would probably hold 5000 pounds if it was evenly loaded and properly braced against a wall but would recommend buying a heavier unit if that capacity was actually required. Assembly Hint: The instructions recommend using a leather hammer or a carpenter's hammer with a wood block. A better choice (if available) is a dead blow hammer. This is a plastic faced hammer containing lead shot. 2 taps were enough to firmly seat each horizontal piece in the uprights without damage. Home Depot sells them for $17. October 1, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Husky Steel Shelf The box arrived having been opened previously and missing 10 parts. Fortunately the manufacturer got me the parts. It is supposedly rated to hold 5000 lbs. No way. It also needed to be secured to the wall to prevent it from tipping over. September 20, 2016
