This is the only full size'ish box I could find under $400, that fit in my tiny, slim truck bed. Seems very strong. Nice, firm, well working handles. I used 3'' self tapping screws, with big washers. 3 on each side. Comes with self adhesive foam, to go on the under the box, where it mounts to the bed rails. I chose 3'' self tapping screws, over the J-hooks, as my bed rail covers, cover the entire bed rail, and don't have any access holes in the bed rails. Mounted in the parking lot, and took 5 minutes to install.

Seems OK time will tell took me about 10 minutes to install it in the Home Depot parking lot pretty easy fits like a glove seems like a pretty universal box basically has about 6 inches of play in the mounting brackets so in for just about anything

had to alter the box due to design flaws. drilled some drainage holes at the bottom so it would drain out any rain that got in while working in storms. also, had to attach a padlock setup & take off that cheap good for nothing locking components that came with it. once those altercations are made, the box works well for what its meant for.

Box worked fine for about a month, then the key snapped inside the lock. Then the handle broke, and the locking mechanism on the left side followed that. I had to drill 2 holes to attach something so that the lid wouldn't open while driving down the freeway. Save your money and purchase a quality box like a better built, or a weather guard. Would not buy this again, or recommend it. I love husky tools, and I own several but they should just stick to hand tools...

Overall this is a nice-looking, solidly-constructed toolbox. It is water-tight, no leaks, even after going through a tunnel car-wash. It was easy to install with the included J-hooks. No drilling required. Works great on my black 2015 F150.
The only issue I have is that the latches are a little cheap. At first I couldn't get the toolbox to close from the passenger side. The latch mechanism just doesn't fit together super well. After adding some heavy-duty grease to both latches, it now closes from either side. Okay value for the money. It was more than I wanted to spend... but what can you do?

The lid has an inadequate seal. If you go down a dirt road expect half of it in your toolbox. The lock tumbler fell out after one year. The lid wouldn't open, had to drill out the handle rivets to get into it. If you want a quality box avoid this one.
