Mine definitely has an insulated top. I have the black version, but I would not think there would be a difference.

Answer:
It comes with a thin piece that goes between the truck rail and the box but the top itself is NOT insulated. There is a piece of weather striping that goes around top of the lid that seals moisture from entering the box

Answer:
No, it does not have insulation in the top, or anywhere for that matter. There is a weather strip that runs inside the lip of the lid, but that is all.

Answer:
Fits Nissan titan just fine. You will have to trim the inside of the Bedliner just slightly as the jbolts will not fit between Bedliner and bedrail. I am not happy with this box however, found water in the box the other day which ruined some electronic tools and the lid is wavy now. Only 6 months old maybe?

Answer:
Hi Coloradan, you should have no problem with the width of the truck box.
You will need to measure the inside of the bed from the back window section to the from of the wheel wells. You need 23.6 inches to make a nice fit.
The specs on a Ford F150 extended cab does not give this dimension. It gives the measurement of the entire truck bed.

Answer:
The F-150 is a full-sized truck like my son's GM Sierra. I bought this box for my son in December of 2015 and it fit real well. I'm guessing that it would fit the F-150 just as well.

It will fit your F-150 as long as it is not a "step"side bed/box. If it's a standard truck bed it will definitely fit. I have this installed in my 2013 F-150 XLT!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Husky Box Does not latch well. Durable and pretty good sized for the price paid. July 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Happy With Purchase 2001 Ford F250 crew cab XLT short bed. This is my first toolbox I've ever purchased for a truck, so maybe I'm not the best judge but I am very happy it. It fits perfect, and looks great! It opens and closes smoothly and the locking mechanism appears to be well made. I have had the box for about a month now. It rained for about 5 days straight, very hard at times and not a drop of water in it. The top looks a little wavy, but I'm fine with that, it's sheet metal for goodness sake and my girls are already crawling all over it which I expected. I remember when my dad used to let me crawl all over his, good times. Install took about 10 minutes with the supplied j bolts and is nice and secure in the bed. I would recommend this box to anyone. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good Equipment bought this for my 2016 tundra... was skeptical about it at first bc I had always had UWS but did not want to pay 550 for another. so I bought this one. it fits well... looks great and holds up to the 100 lbs or so of tools I've put in and out of it. the waterproof feature works well and the open and closing mechanism works great. this is a great box for the price. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Don't recommend Ever since I bought this toolbox it has caused me many problems. June 1, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by THIS THING SUCKS I have never bought a brand new tool box and bought a new truck, I figured it was time to stop being cheap and bought this. This is the worst toolbox i have ever bought, I read a lot of reviews and everything seemed fine until I got it. First one had a big dent in the top, second one would not stay closed! So I thought third time might be a charm, Nope. I can close it and it will randomly open back up while going down the road, even if I lock it. I thought I may be doing something wrong so every time I closed it I jumped in the back of my truck and made sure to close both sides. About an hour later it just popped open for no reason. I started checking in to it and this is not uncommon for these. I took it back to the store and because it has been over 30 days they could not do anything. I wish they would do something about these latches and help out their customers who paid $300+. Lesson learned, VERY DISAPPOINTED. May 30, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Dont leave the parking lot before testing the lid and lock Went to the Home depot by my house and bought this tool box. took it home and unwrapped it and all seemed well so i put it in the bed of the truck and realized the lid would not close from the side the lock was on also that the lock would not lock. I adjusted it some and got the lid to close fine but the lock wouldnt work so i played with it some more and got the lock to work but now the lid wouldnt close. Returned that one and got a different one but it had the same problems. i exchanged it for a 3rd one and it had the same issues. Before you leave the parking lot i would deff make sure the lid closes and the lock works. April 4, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great value for the price. I am using this toolbox mainly as extra storage, and light duty tool usage. I open and close it several times a day and the locking mechanism works well unless something in the box gets in the way. Being aluminum construction means it is very light and easy to install, but it is a soft aluminum, so I would recommend putting something on the floor of the box to keep hitches and wrenches from wearing their way through. It does dent fairly easily, but the paint is holding up well and doesn't scratch easily. The weatherstripping is awesome and keeps out any water. I have used a pressure washer on the box and it is completely dry on the inside. The only downside is the one side lock, with no option to put a secondary padlock on it for extra security. Also, the gas shocks sometimes need a little bit of help on cold mornings, but just a light tap on the lid and they take it the rest of the way up. My only regret is that I did not get a deeper box for more storage, since my truck can easily support the extra size. May 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great box for the money Got this box because it appeared to be the best value for under $300, never had any problems with it but I do wish it was about 2-4 inches taller, I feel like it has a lot of wasted space under it that limits its compacity, locks and handles always work, does not let water in, but I have left it open in the rain and it will hold every drop of rain that gets in it forcing you to take it off and dry it out, would say it's well worth the money, looks very clean in my truck April 26, 2016
