Mine definitely has an insulated top. I have the black version, but I would not think there would be a difference.

Answer:
It comes with a thin piece that goes between the truck rail and the box but the top itself is NOT insulated. There is a piece of weather striping that goes around top of the lid that seals moisture from entering the box

Answer:
No, it does not have insulation in the top, or anywhere for that matter. There is a weather strip that runs inside the lip of the lid, but that is all.

Answer:
Fits Nissan titan just fine. You will have to trim the inside of the Bedliner just slightly as the jbolts will not fit between Bedliner and bedrail. I am not happy with this box however, found water in the box the other day which ruined some electronic tools and the lid is wavy now. Only 6 months old maybe?

Answer:
Hi Coloradan, you should have no problem with the width of the truck box.
You will need to measure the inside of the bed from the back window section to the from of the wheel wells. You need 23.6 inches to make a nice fit.
The specs on a Ford F150 extended cab does not give this dimension. It gives the measurement of the entire truck bed.

Answer:
The F-150 is a full-sized truck like my son's GM Sierra. I bought this box for my son in December of 2015 and it fit real well. I'm guessing that it would fit the F-150 just as well.

It will fit your F-150 as long as it is not a "step"side bed/box. If it's a standard truck bed it will definitely fit. I have this installed in my 2013 F-150 XLT!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dont leave the parking lot before testing the lid and lock Went to the Home depot by my house and bought this tool box. took it home and unwrapped it and all seemed well so i put it in the bed of the truck and realized the lid would not close from the side the lock was on also that the lock would not lock. I adjusted it some and got the lid to close fine but the lock wouldnt work so i played with it some more and got the lock to work but now the lid wouldnt close. Returned that one and got a different one but it had the same problems. i exchanged it for a 3rd one and it had the same issues. Before you leave the parking lot i would deff make sure the lid closes and the lock works.

The box is sturdy but the mounting hardware that comes with it seems weak. It comes with some rubber pads for installation, however it does not come with any spacers and it does not clear the 2016 RAM 1500 truck's wheel cover so DIY fabrication of spacers is needed. The keys to lock the box are made of soft aluminum and they bend easily. The lock on one side of my toolbox stopped working after about 1 month of use. Overall it's a great product but it could use some better installation accessories and a better lock / key would be an awesome improvement.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor design I'm on my second husky tool box within a year. The current one was installed a week ago and the locking mechanism has already fallen apart. This is the same issue I had with the first one. And since day one it's been a chore to close. Very disappointed and will return at the first chance I get. I currently am using a rope to keep the dang thing closed

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect fit and looks great! I was debating on the larger/deeper toolbox but ended up going with the more shallow one cause I have a 6.5' bed on my 2007 Silverado Extended Cab. This way I can load things under the toolbox easier than I could with the deeper one. It's not too heavy and comes with the hooks and bolts/washers to mount tight. I recommend this toolbox.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great toolbox! I did alot of research on the web as well as checking out local stores. This toolbox is definitely one of the best values out there. The latches seem far superior to most of the other boxes availble, especially in this price range. pull the latch and the lid pops right up, very cool. The low-profile doesn't block the view through the rear window. I added a little more cushioning between the truck rails and the toolbox than what was supplied. It looks nice even on my short 5.5' box, and the black color looks great on my new truck.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Equipment bought this for my 2016 tundra... was skeptical about it at first bc I had always had UWS but did not want to pay 550 for another. so I bought this one. it fits well... looks great and holds up to the 100 lbs or so of tools I've put in and out of it. the waterproof feature works well and the open and closing mechanism works great. this is a great box for the price.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible design. Have owned it for a few years on my work truck. As i type this review the box is... Terrible design. Have owned it for a few years on my work truck. As i type this review the box is jammed shut locking a few gallons of pesticides inside. I have had a few instances of it not opening but never like this. i would not buy again would look at more expensive options with more sturdy locks.
