2001 Ford F250 crew cab XLT short bed. This is my first toolbox I've ever purchased for a truck, so maybe I'm not the best judge but I am very happy it. It fits perfect, and looks great! It opens and closes smoothly and the locking mechanism appears to be well made. I have had the box for about a month now. It rained for about 5 days straight, very hard at times and not a drop of water in it. The top looks a little wavy, but I'm fine with that, it's sheet metal for goodness sake and my girls are already crawling all over it which I expected. I remember when my dad used to let me crawl all over his, good times. Install took about 10 minutes with the supplied j bolts and is nice and secure in the bed. I would recommend this box to anyone.

bought this for my 2016 tundra... was skeptical about it at first bc I had always had UWS but did not want to pay 550 for another. so I bought this one. it fits well... looks great and holds up to the 100 lbs or so of tools I've put in and out of it. the waterproof feature works well and the open and closing mechanism works great. this is a great box for the price.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Kevin Dont leave the parking lot before testing the lid and lock
Went to the Home depot by my house and bought this tool box. took it home and unwrapped it and all seemed well so i put it in the bed of the truck and realized the lid would not close from the side the lock was on also that the lock would not lock. I adjusted it some and got the lid to close fine but the lock wouldnt work so i played with it some more and got the lock to work but now the lid wouldnt close. Returned that one and got a different one but it had the same problems. i exchanged it for a 3rd one and it had the same issues. Before you leave the parking lot i would deff make sure the lid closes and the lock works.

Got this box because it appeared to be the best value for under $300, never had any problems with it but I do wish it was about 2-4 inches taller, I feel like it has a lot of wasted space under it that limits its compacity, locks and handles always work, does not let water in, but I have left it open in the rain and it will hold every drop of rain that gets in it forcing you to take it off and dry it out, would say it's well worth the money, looks very clean in my truck

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Sonny LATCHES OPEN WHILE DRIVING, HARD TO CLOSE BUT NICE TOOL BOX
I have had my latch only for a full day now. bought in Phoenix, drove a 5 hour drive back home and i have had to slam the top down hard and just in that couple hours it opened up while driving 2 times. each time, I had to slam and feel this is gonna be a problem each time. I have to get onto the truck just to shut and also i have to fiddle round with the keys to lock and unlock.
I'm gonna return this item this week and look for another tool box

The box was easy to install. You have to slam the lid hard to get it to close properly. Easier from inside the bed, but I don't want to get in the bed every time to close. Maybe I can adjust it some. Also, I've had the box for only a month or so and the handles started to pit a little like they were starting to corrode. I contacted Husky and they sent me new handles. Don't want this review to sound like I don't like the box, I do, and it looks good on my new Tundra. Hard to beat for the price. Haven't had it long enough to know if it will hold up, but I feel it will.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by TStro very solid tool box
The tool box was very solid and easy to install. The only down side is that the key mechanism is either a little messed up or needs to be broken in. I have to push the key in from an upward angle or else it just won't go in.
