Most of the screws in a Mac are philips but there are a few torque type and occasionally some other weird thing. This guy will get you through most Mac work. Of course a heat gun is essential!

This screwdriver is indispensable and is always at my fingertips. I can't believe that over the years I have not lost one of the bits but that is because i cherish it so much that I carefully store the tips away after each use. I love precision tools and this is the absolute best I have ever found. Love the rotating end. Now... if ONLY it was magnetized. I have to plop a small magnet on the end or "treat" the tip before each session. After 10 years one of the lock balls fell out so now it won't stay put when facing downwards. They offer a lifetime warranty but, sheesh, for six bucks I will just get a new one and have some extra tips in case I get sloppy!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from If it ain't broke.. Loved the old version, strongly dislike the redesign. The new handle is bulkier and rounded, thus lacking the anti-roll hex shape of it's predecessor, which I used with a small adjustable wrench as a breaker bar for really stubborn screws. It feels like you can't put as much hand torque on it vs. the old model as well. Tip storage is adequate while the tips themselves are pure garbage. If they had kept the old gray tips, I could have lived with it. However, those too have been replaced with poorly machined tips with a chrome finish. My particular unit came with a couple of mis-formed Phillips heads, rendering them useless. In the case of the PH0/3/32" tip, the lock bearing fell out on the first day of use. A bit of a nitpick, the new model has a generic black endcap just like the new Torx variant, whereas the old versions had red for Slotted/Phillips and black for Torx for easy identification at a glance. The new caps are also lacking the anti-roll notches. It is a very poor redesign of a once very capable product.

I have used this version, the tips are poor and the handle is easy to break. I do small precision work and the old model is a favorite go to tool. This "thing resembling a screwdriver" is not even a poor substitute. Please, go back to your old supplier, I would pay a premium for it.

The #000 bit broke off the tip into the head of a screw while attempting to remove the outer case of a computer. This was the first time I used the #000. Also the repair manual for the computer called for a #00 to be used, unfortunately the #00 was not small enough hence the #000 had to be used. False advertising on their "sizes".

I have purchased many "micro-drivers" over the years. This one is the best so far. Why? It is large enough to not get lost, yet precise enough to result in good function. Not crazy about all 'Husky' products, but this one I recommend.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Didn't work out The smallest Phillips bit was still too large for why I bought it. Also, although I liked the idea if storing the bits in the handle, it only holds 3 of the 4 that come with the tool. I was disappointed overall and ended up returning it at the store.

Bought to loosen small screws on a thermostat. Two bits broke while removing 5 screws. Poor quality and it is something I would expect from a Dollar store but not Home Depot.
