What are the dimensions of the 20" bag. I assume the length is 20", but what is height and width?

Answer:
The length is more like 19 inches. Width 7 inches. Height 10 inches. But since it's cloth, you can get it to bulge some dimensions at the cost of others. For example, something narrow and 12 inches high could fit in the middle.

Answer:
If you have to, you can wedge it in, but no, it's not useful. You're just buying a handy two-pack of vaguely related items. The little one is sturdy but small; I wouldn't try to load a massive amount or really heavy things in the large one.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 31 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lots of function, really low price This product package, a closeout, contained two items, a 20" utility bag and a 14" tool hauler (open top). HD to me means top quality and top quality support and great prices all at once. This bag was a virtual "giveaway." It is made of lighter fabric and has fewer or lower level product features (most visilble in the attached picture are the handles). It works FINE. I have assembled most of my HD bags. I have moved to the front three and numbered them. #3 is the one referred to in this review, #1 is the premium level (contractor level), and #2 is the regular bag. April 21, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect for frequently used tools I am electrical service engineer from England and I bought this combo while on vacation in the USA, now back in England I use the tote bag every day at work - for my most used tools, which saves me dragging my heavy tool bag to site with all my other tools which I don't use often. It is made very strongly and standing up to heavy professional use, and has enough space in the middle to stash my makita drill/driver. I bought the combo just for the tote, the zipper bag was an extra bonus, I don't use it, however my wife has claimed it and uses it when she travels to keep her makeup/hairdryer/brushes etc in it , she seems very happy with it! Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Works good for it's intended use Use it to carry tools for the job I'm doing at the time. Works great! January 5, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Set This is a really good set. I really like the open top bag. It has a reasonable amount of built in dividers with variable sizes. This is a pretty rugged bag too. I accidently drive over it and it held up very well. My only gripe is, I wish the larger bag had a sturdier bottom to support larger, heavier items. August 25, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 5 star Perfect for what was needed and worked out well thanks September 2, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Useful combo! The smaller square tote is very useful for holding tools for artists and craftsmen. Lots of pockets of all sizes. This size is very hard to find. The larger rectangular tote is useful for holding hand tools for everybody. Very sturdy construction for both. Amazing price for the combo! August 5, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Value durable Great Value Heavy material and love the 8 inch tote. May 26, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect Bag and tote I started looking for bags to hold my reciprocating saw, blades, and accessories. While many saws come with bags in the upper price range, I use one so infrequently that I didn't need a $100 tool when the $30 reconditioned Skil version worked for me... but it left me without a bag or box to store it in. The large bag is just a bit longer than the saw and plenty roomy. The material is strong and the pockets allow me to sort blades individually. I've tossed it around a bit with no sign of wear (though it's only been a month). It feels stronger and more durable than the bags by bosch, dewalt, porter cable and Milwaukee tools came in. The tote is fantastic for jobs around the house. I load up what I need in the garage, carry it there and keeps tools handy through the project. My wife loves that I'm not leaving random tools around anymore. Lots of pockets and I was surprised I could fit a drill, an impact driver, 6 screw drivers, a hammer, a stud finder, a box of screws, two tape measures, a level, three pencils, a razor knife, a mallet, and a few chisels with room for the random bits I picked up along the way!
