Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nonsheep WOW! Undeniable Value for Good Quality Files!
I stumbled across these when I was looking for only one wood rasp file. This set has 8 total files & 4 handles. The small intricate files were a bonus... The Rasp File I was going to buy was a buck & a half less so I bought this set which HAD the Wood Rasp File! Real Bargain! The rasp worked just as I needed it to & I also picked up good quality files for the DIYer's Tool Box! Oh & they're Guaranteed For Life!

Very good value. Got this set for the price of a single name brand file. This set and the name brand are both made in Columbia......

This is probably the best ten bucks you could spend on tools in the store. I am not an expert of files, but they get the job done and I am completely satisfied.

These files are small, at least the largest ones are probably about medium in size if you are buying them individually and a name brand. The do seem to work fine, although I haven't abused any of them yet! Seriously, if you use them correctly and take care of them, I think any file should do fine. I was able to sharpen a lawn mower blade with the largest file in the set with fine results. A larger file would of done it faster though.
Hard to say if this is a good value. If you only need one or two files, you will probably pay about the same as the full set and may never use the other files in the set!
Only time will tell on how I feel overall about the set, but thought a photo showing the size and teeth may help?

I bought these for coping trim, the size assortment and especially the price was well worth it!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by cmill For the price, how can you go wrong?
I used the bigger file to sharpen my mower blades, and the used a few other the other to sharpen some dull knives. These actually held up very well, and left a clean edge on everything I used them for. Even if you did only get one use out of them, a blade sharpening would cost at least $40 anyway...so what do you have to lose? I think for the price, this is a very nice set of file, and they even come with the handle.

You don't realize how good a new file is, as opposed to the old worn out ones you've been using, until you try these and the price was fantastic!

It's a good mid grade set. If you can find something with a fixed handle, I'd lean towards that, but this is good.
