So much pain! They move around, dig into my legs and after a week have hardly any cushioning ability.

These knee pads are absolutely unusable due to the horrible fit/comfort. WORST HD product I've ever purchased. These are going back for a refund.

Over the years I've spent a lot on "premium" knee pads, some in mid-range price, and some for "cheapies". There always seems to be a weakness in any knee pad, no matter what the cost. I've found these to be the best so far but with one modification. To prevent shifting on the knee and to add padding, I cut some 2' foam the size of the pad and shifted it so it is slightly offset towards the outside of the knee. This seems to be perfect for my knee shape. The hard cap seems durable and although it can shift a bit on the surface it is not a real problem. I like that there is no Velcro on the straps. That always seems to break down. The upper strap is elastic. The bottom strap is what is great-it is not elastic so it won't stretch, and you can chinch it down snug to give a firm fit that won't shift. Price is great and works good so far.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by kurdias I would pass this item!
I fell for the low price. DO NOT make that mistake. The item is decent. But the problem is with the design. If you move too much during your work activity they tend to slip down below knee level and you need to frequently adjust them. My recommendation is to get ones that strap around your thigh and have a "junction" joint to allow for knee bending movement. They are a bit pricey, but worth it. Buy once and be done!

I've been using these the past three days and thankfully I'm almost done with them. The straps will dig into your legs and they keep falling down. Constantly have to adjust the straps and pull them up. If I had to wear these everyday as part of my job, I'd be suffering. They are better than nothing, if that's all you need then go for it. I only needed these for a few days on a personal project but, boy am I glad I only have one more day to wear them because even when I am using them, they are uncomfortable. I'm not sure what the swivel means but, in a odd way, yeah they do swivel, all the way to your feet.
Good for occasional use only, better than busting your knees or kneeling on a screw.

The straps continually break on these pads this is the second pair I have bought I like the fact that it isn't Velcro however I was expecting them to last a year without breaking

Ok, let's be frank. You're paying $10 for a pair of knee pads. I bought my first pair of Husky knee pads from Home Depot 4 years ago when i bought my house. I expected them to only last a few months, during the main remodel.
FOUR YEARS LATER, with light to moderate use, the strap on one of them broke. Sure the padding isn't the greatest, but compared to kneeling on concrete & random nails and lumber pieces, it's amazing. They do slide down a bit when walking, but it's livable. The plastic NEVER cracked.
I've attached a picture of the old and the new for comparison. For $10, these things are all stars.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Tommy hard outer shell
The padding on the inside of the hard shell exterior was thin and felt like I was kneeling on the floor with only a thin pad between my knee and floor. Not much different than NOT using them. On the plus side I can see how the hard shell would protect your knees from nails on a construction site. I am old and need more cushioning. will be returning.
