This ended up being the perfect mix of tools in a convenient package. The tools have a nice feel to them and I think will hold up to a good amount of abuse. It may sound silly, but the thing I appreciate the most is the case these come in. Everything fits well, doesn't rattle around and doesn't fall out the moment you open the case. To top it off the case also fits perfect in the storage bin in the back of my car, I dig it!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by James Quality set of tools. Durable. Excellent value.
Iâll preface this review by stating that I own many Husky-brand hand tools and that they have become a tool of choice because they are reasonably priced, of good quality, and carry a (limited) lifetime replacement warranty. The first thing to note when you remove the packaging and crack open the black plastic blow mold case is the high-polish, smooth, mirror-like finish applied to the ratchets and sockets, which shows craftsmanship and attention to detail. This finish, coupled with an ergonomic design makes for a very visually appealing tool that feels good in the hand. As a back-yard mechanic and one who enjoy tackling most any size DIY home improvement project, I have a frequent use for tools, especially hand tools. This set includes many of the most common sized sockets and bits, in ¼-in and 3/8-in standard and metric size in regular and deep sockets, which makes it ideal for around the home and automotive. The rugged, high tensile strength steel construction allows you to apply high torque without damaging the ratchets or rounding sockets. The convenient blow mold case is made of a durable, hard plastic with a secure snap to keep the tools neatly organized during travel to and from the job site, or for storage in a truck box or trunk of a vehicle. In fact, I was once stranded on the side of the road without so much as a screwdriver, so this tool kit will be stored in the trunk of my vehicle, just in case of emergency, or to assist another motorist. A few of the pieces were snug in the case, making removal/replacement a chore, but I experienced this with my other Husky sockets sets. After a brief period of break-in, the tools become easier to remove/replace. Having used Husky tools for several years, and having had no issues whatsoever, I can recommend this Husky 107-pce. Mechanic set without reservation. If you take reasonably good care of these tools, you can expect them to last a lifetime.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Sandiegohaunted Good basic mechanic tool set
The set is 109 pieces with a majority being sockets. This is a good set for basic light mechanic work around the house or garage.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by PSHome Excellent tools...case only so so.
I'm a DIY remolderler and don't use mechanic tools as much as drills, hammers, etc, but do need to tighten bolts here and there. This is good set that provides all the basics you need. Others have raved about the case, but I'm not sold on it. Things only fit so so and you better not open the case upside down. On the positive, I have a lot of Husky tools and expect these to hold up just as well...so far so good.
