Same price as the 60piece Husky toolset. Why wouldn't you get the 134 piece? Seems heavy duty so far and it has everything I need to replace my lawn mower engine. 4 star only because it could be a 135 piece set.

Has lots of options toolwise. Everything i like besides one thing. I prefer 6pt sockets there is alot of 12pt sockets mostly for the 1/2 inch drive.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by mixmox Really good foundation set
This set consists of 6 ranges of tools:
Sockets and ratchets in ¼” ⅜” and ½” drive size (Metric and SAE)
Wrenches (Metric and SAE)
Bit driver with a range of bits including nut drivers
Hex keys (Allen wrenches)
I think most people will either have a flat and Phillips screwdriver or could easily buy one (plus the seldom used Torx bits) and it would be better to leave those out of socket and wrench sets. I think that the hex keys and ¼” driver bits are included to push the tool count up, making up 16% of the 143 pieces. For most people, you now have yet another! Having the nut drivers is good.
There is a lot of overlap in socket sizes across the 3 drive ranges, for example, there are 5 10mm sockets plus a 10mm nut driver. This is partly because there are deep sockets as well as regular length sockets. It is a luxury.
I would have liked to see, an extension for the ½” drive (there are 3” ones for ¼” and ⅜”), and possible a powerbar also for the ½” ratchet.
It would have been really nice if the wrenches were the ratchet style ring wrenches.
The workmanship and quality of the tools is outstanding. The sockets, wrenches and ratchets are all wonderfully polished and shiny. They feel good in the hand and the ratchets have button to lock/unlock the sockets onto the drive shaft. The sockets will not fall off.
I am not a big fan of these molded plastic tool cases. They certainly present the tools nicely, but what we really want is fast access and storage. The problem with the cases is that either the tools fall out of their places when the case is opened, or the tools are hard to get out and push back in afterwards, or both. They also use up a lot of space you need about 4 square feet top open this case.. The lid of this set holds (just) 32 pieces which are held in place much better than the base, so if you open the case the wrong way up you will be sorting sockets for a while!

This is a nice tool set for household use. We've never had metric before and came in handy the first day as I needed metric. Has a wide assortment that should cover most wrench/socket needs including allen head wrenches in metric & standard.

The tool set is in a compact carrying case and fits behind the seat in my single cab Toyota with ease. The tool set has all of the socket sizes to perform light maintenance on any vehicle.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by modjo Great for first time home owners
Just bought this toolset some weeks ago and so far I have to say it is a great starter kit for first time home owners! Everything works very well and the quality seems good as well.
Only thing that could be improved is the ridigity of the switching mechanism of the ranches (clockwise to counterclockwise and back).
