I have used other husky products with very good results and have been quite satisfied... This will be my first time with their ratcheting wrench, and i am curious as to how much torque the gearing will take within reason of course... If they hold up to weekly use i should be content with them... Will update in a couple months...

My husband is in the antique tractor repair and sell business. He has a lot of tools but he's never had a decent set of metric wrenches. He is very pleased with this beautiful Husky set. He likes the size range, the feel and heft of the wrenches and amount of torque. This is a very nice set with a well thought out and executed design. I would give it five stars except for the packaging. The set was thrown into an over sized box with no padding. When it arrived several wrenches had worked loose out of the intended holder and were rattling around in the box. Not typical of Husky.

This is a nice set of wenches. The open end side is a perfect fit on nuts and bolts. the racheting end has a little arrow to show you the direction of turn. The size is also engraved into the chrome. I have used these for about a month now and find they are a great additionto my tool chest. The plastic storage set up is handy also. Each wrench locks in by size and snaps in place. A real nice set.

This metric ratcheting end wrench set is the basic design. It ratchets 70 times per revolution, which results in just over 5 degrees/step resolution. You should add a bit for clearances in the bolts fit and the wrench mechanism itself and would probably get 7-8 degrees total. That is normal for this type. The wrench has no offset at the ratcheting boxed end and you must turn over the wrench to reverse it. Again, nothing new here, but you should realize that without an offset, it will not work in all situations and cannot be "broken" loose from the nut/bolt by reversing direction only. If you need those capabilities, you should buy a more expensive reversing wrench set.
I found no other issues with this set. Just remember this set is not a more expensive forged set. Those are the ones you see for over $100 a set elsewhere.
I see no way to open and clean out the ratchet mechanism, so these wrenches probably cannot be repaired if they jam or start to slip/skip because of internal contamination.
Nevertheless, you can't beat the price for a 10-wrench set. I have both metric and SAE sets. If you keep them in the supplied plastic carrier, you can tell them apart: metric has a gray carrier and SAE has black carrier.

These work great for little to no room on bolts. I used them on a shock change on my truck with no problems at all.
