Does the HBR50 model have a nail depth adjustment?

Asked by: TeacherPhil
It does have a nail depth adjustment; I had to look online to find it. Just below the trigger is a dial and a diagram that shows you that if you rotate the dial to the left, the nail goes deeper; rotating the dial to the right drives the nail shallower. Test it on a piece of scrap trim and dial it in :)

The knob on top of the nailer is to do what?

Do I have to turn it left or right to do a what?
Asked by: bobby
I believe you are referring to the exhaust area. You can turn the exhaust either way to direct the air away from debris and your work surface and debris.

Customer Reviews

Pneumatic 2 in. Brad Nailer is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great guns I don't normally write reviews however wanted to write one about these husky nailers. I was very skeptical about buying these guns at first. I got the 3 husky nailers in a bundle deal that Home Depot offered a while back. I bought these guns about 4 years ago and they are still in great working condition. I am a homeowner but have remodeled nearly every room in my house. I use these every time. I can only remember having a couple jams over the years. If u are just a homeowner I recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tool I purchased this tool in a set of three guns with carry bag at HD several months ago- partly because I anticipated needing the 23ga. pin nailer for some moulding projects, but also to replace a SEARS 18ga nailer I bought about 20 years ago. The SEARS nailer was good- but I couldn't find a rebuild kit. This HD 3 gun Kit was such a good deal, I decided to try it. I am very pleased with everything so far- can't attest to the longevity obviously. The fit & finish is great. With a little care, its seems they should last me for what I do (homeowner). So the main purpose for writing this review was the customer service I received last week. Through my own neglect, I happened to drop the 18ga nailer from about 10 feet and broke the air fitting housing off. I was able to locate the exploded parts diagram on the HD website (thanks HD- great help) and called the number on the included literature. Mike who answered the phone was very helpful and said he would email me when he located the part. To my surprise, Mike emailed me a few minutes later and said the part has been shipped via UPS- GRATIS!! Now thats great customer service if you ask me! FYI, the part arrived a few days later and is now in service. Thanks, Mike!
