Poorly designed. Broken with in 6 months periodic use on computers only (case/component/ expansions screws). The torque head slipped inside the driver. The batteries did not last long had to replace after approx 20 uses. Case that it came in could have been designed better as the cover was a either a one time use or a pain to try and use again if I wanted to put in a tool kit. No torque at all extremely low speed. Manual screwdriver better in most cases. Bit selection not bad needs more. Tips at least stay in the head unlike other Husky products. (23 pc precision set fall right out ). Using over a period of a couple minutes is akward with the thumb button.

These things are junk, I returned the first one ( received as Christmas gift) thinking it was just a defective one., because it broke the first screw I tried to remove.
I'm not talking about highly Torres screws either. As in small screws in a laptop.
The second one was better, it lasts two days.
What a joke of a product. The gears won't hold up, save your money unless you just need to screw in a couple of already loosened screws.

This is under powered for the bits that come with this set. There is a bit of almost 4mm in it and there is no way this thing can open any screw with that size. The only use I can or this is eye glasses.
This is powered and it has just no power. Motor is small so there is no speed. Problem with powered devices is that you cant use it as screw driver if this thing is under powered for some task. Save your money and buy husky manual percision screw driver. You will use your own power and will not get stuck due to power.
I was opening hard drive to show my kid how things are inside hard drive. This thing was unable to open screws of hard drive internals. I used manual husky percision screw driver.

For years I've been wanting a simple tool to get hard drives apart, because of the little torx screws. A new coworker that was a computer tech let me borrow his and I was amazed at how much torque this little thing puts out on AAA batteries. Not to mention it has the small bits for those tiny jobs. I got the hard drive apart so I could properly destroy the discs and salvage the magnets. This could have saved me a lot of time and effort on all the guitars I've worked on over the years too. It fit comfortably in my hand, it's about as think as a fat Sharpie marker. I could tell my coworker has had his for years, it's well worn so I'm confident it's something that will work when I need it. I think every man should be issued on of these at birth. At this price I'm getting a few for me and my fam.

I picked up the Husky PowerTek Precision Screwdriver Set on a whim, and also to see if it was good enough to be worth picking up as a stocking stuffer. A few years back I picked up the $5 precision tools set they offered and liked it enough to pick up sets for my Dad and brother (though the clips tend to tear at the rubber grips of the handle). I use my set almost weekly.
As for this powertek... I'm less than impressed. It feels cheapish, is overly large for what it is. On top of that... the motor fluctuates in its rpm speed even while testing in the air. For a lot of screws I tried it on you had to loosen them before you could use this to take them out. It's a fun toy and that's about it. As a 'feature' you can say this will unlikely ever strip any screw due to how weak it is.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by avon5000 A GREAT PRECISION TOOL FOR A GREAT PRICE
I purchased this tool for the price at my Home Depot only a 30min. bus ride from where I live by looking at the yellow tag for $4.00 on sale since the orignal price is only $9.88 so I purchased mine for half the price. And I plan to use it for years to come this is a very useful tool for any precision project like replacing batteries from electronic toys or PC repair, and electronics parts, etc. when I saw it I fell in love with it so I would recomend this tool for any one who likes to do precision work.
