These things are junk, I returned the first one ( received as Christmas gift) thinking it was just a defective one., because it broke the first screw I tried to remove.
I'm not talking about highly Torres screws either. As in small screws in a laptop.
The second one was better, it lasts two days.
What a joke of a product. The gears won't hold up, save your money unless you just need to screw in a couple of already loosened screws.

I do a lot of traveling in my work (computer technician) and this summer had the luck to make a jump across the pond to the EU for a couple months. As anyone who's spent time there can tell you, the spaces are small everywhere you go, and I needed a multi-use, compact tool that wouldn't weigh down my luggage while traveling virtually every other day. And luckily, I brought the Cordless Power Precision Screwdriver along at the recommendation of a co-worker. It stands vertically so I could just set it where I needed to whenever I needed it (tiny, Euro-sized desks!) and compared to most screw drivers - especially electric - it weighs virtually nothing and comes with its own case so it packs easily. For working on computers and electronics all day I saved my forearms and was able to get at the little screws with different fittings with no problem. I've now found a great new travel companion and my new go-to screwdriver - awesome purchase!

My Wife (really me) bought this for me for Christmas. I've already used it several times. I love it. It has more power than you would think in such a small package. Worth the buy. You won't be sorry.

This tool is higly functional for dealing with screws and/or small bolts, especially in tight areas. I have arthritis in both hands and this device helps me immensely when I use it for putting small screws in small areas.
Bottom Line--------Absolutely Outstanding!

I picked up the Husky PowerTek Precision Screwdriver Set on a whim, and also to see if it was good enough to be worth picking up as a stocking stuffer. A few years back I picked up the $5 precision tools set they offered and liked it enough to pick up sets for my Dad and brother (though the clips tend to tear at the rubber grips of the handle). I use my set almost weekly.
As for this powertek... I'm less than impressed. It feels cheapish, is overly large for what it is. On top of that... the motor fluctuates in its rpm speed even while testing in the air. For a lot of screws I tried it on you had to loosen them before you could use this to take them out. It's a fun toy and that's about it. As a 'feature' you can say this will unlikely ever strip any screw due to how weak it is.

For years I've been wanting a simple tool to get hard drives apart, because of the little torx screws. A new coworker that was a computer tech let me borrow his and I was amazed at how much torque this little thing puts out on AAA batteries. Not to mention it has the small bits for those tiny jobs. I got the hard drive apart so I could properly destroy the discs and salvage the magnets. This could have saved me a lot of time and effort on all the guitars I've worked on over the years too. It fit comfortably in my hand, it's about as think as a fat Sharpie marker. I could tell my coworker has had his for years, it's well worn so I'm confident it's something that will work when I need it. I think every man should be issued on of these at birth. At this price I'm getting a few for me and my fam.

This little screwdriver is very useful for quickly removing and re-installing small screws on personal computers and accessories. Works very well and the carrying case is very well designed to hold the main unit and all the bits within the plastic cover, which keeps the bits from getting lost.
