Customer Reviews

SAE Ratcheting Combination Wrench Set (10-Piece) is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 50.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic quality and build I recently acquired a full set of these ratcheting wrenches and came away very impressed. The build quality is fantastic and the ratcheting mechanism is robust and smooth. This is all-metal construction with a highly durable chrome finish. Once you have a ratcheting wrench, you'll never want to go back again. Purchase any of these and you'll be very pleased. Well done, Husky.

The tight spaces prevented using standard wrenches. These worked perfectly and the set had the sizes I needed which was a huge bonus. So many of the sets I had looked at did not have the sizes I needed.

This was the perfect gift for my son, who had just purchased a home; we would not have been able to make critical repairs without this specific style of ratchet wrench...there was not enough room to work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Tools These are good tools which typically sell at a good price. I have never had a Husky tool to break. I would purchase Husky before purchasing Craftsman tools.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great set of wrenches! Ratcheting wrenches are great. You can slip them into tight spaces where a typical socket just won’t fit and you don’t have to fool with resetting the box end wrench position all the time. What I like about this set is that these are some heavy duty wrenches, solid steel construction. The wrenches also have a reasonable fine degree of movement before the next ratcheting position. This allows you to make even very small movements that will actually ratchet and drive the movement of the target bolt or nut. Great for very tight places like you find under the hood of a car. Every toolbox needs a set of these!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Adequate wrench set This metric ratcheting end wrench set is the basic design. It ratchets 70 times per revolution, which results in just over 5 degrees/step resolution. You should add a bit for clearances in the bolts fit and the wrench mechanism itself and would probably get 7-8 degrees total. That is normal for this type. The wrench has no offset at the ratcheting boxed end and you must turn over the wrench to reverse it. Again, nothing new here, but you should realize that without an offset, it will not work in all situations and cannot be "broken" loose from the nut/bolt by reversing direction only. If you need those capabilities, you should buy a more expensive reversing wrench set. I found no other issues with this set. Just remember this set is not a more expensive forged set. Those are the ones you see for over $100 a set elsewhere. I see no way to open and clean out the ratchet mechanism, so these wrenches probably cannot be repaired if they jam or start to slip/skip because of internal contamination. Nevertheless, you can't beat the price for a 10-wrench set. I have both metric and SAE sets. If you keep them in the supplied plastic carrier, you can tell them apart: metric has a gray carrier and SAE has black carrier.
