SAE T-Thru Handle Hex Key Set (7-Piece) is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality built product. The Husky 7-piece T-Handle Hex Key Set is a quality product. The materials are well constructed. I especially like the rubber anti-slip T-Handles. I love the metal composition. Unlike my cheap assortment of Allen wrenches, which over a very short period of time have all rounded over. These appear to be built to last...Well, as the package indicates...Guaranteed Forever. Very nice product indeed and well worth adding to your tool collection.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from T-Handles Torque It Up I've been looking a while at t-handle hex key sets as tools to provide greater torque and convience then my folding hex key sets. This Husky Apex T-thru handle hex set delivers both in good fashion. When needed, they have the ergonomic advantage to break loose stubborn hex keys and re-torque them without stripping the screws. For their features, they are a nicely priced set!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good quality, functional This hex set is very solid - many steps above the average hex key set. It gives you tremendous leverage, far more than you need in most instances, but in some circumstances, the long reach and easy to grip rubber handle will make a job much easier, for instance under a sink, where the reach is helpful, or with larger hex head screws, where you might need the extra leverage to move the screw. It made quick work of a faucet installation, which would otherwise have been a slow and awkward process due. Another nice feature is that the size of each hex wrench is imprinted on the handle, so you'll never wonder which one you have. There are two drawbacks I see to this set: (1) for minor jobs, it's simply overkill, in terms of price to functionality - you just don't need this type of leverage or reach. (2) the storage case is rather unwieldy. It's a far cry from the little pouch your average hex key set comes in. This plastic case is nearly the size of a small tool case, about 13" x 13" x 1.5". Each of the hex wrenches is placed side by side. I really think a better design could have been used, for instance placing them on top of each other. As it is, this case simply won't fit in my tool chest, so I'm going to have to store the wrenches loose along with my screwdrivers, etc. At least they're big enough that they won't drop to the bottom of the chest.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Tools, Awkward Case. These are nice T-handle hex keys. They have a beefy handle that is easy to grip. While I will have to take care to not over torque set screws with these hefty wrenches, I was glad to have them handy to remove a frozen 3/16" set screw on my roto-tiller which had resisted my best efforts with a regular L-shaped "allen" wrench and had already snapped off the end of a 3/8" socket drive hex key. After repairing the tiller, I went out looking for set screws to fiddle with and in a couple of hours I had tuned up my power planer, drill press, and table saw, along with the bicycles and several kitchen appliances. These wrenches have a nice long reach (about 4-1/2"), making it easy to get into many awkward spaces (faucet handle and towel bar set screws, inter alia) where normal allen wrenches get hung up. The finish of the handles is good, and while perhaps the molds were not as well machined as they could be - there is a bit of mold flash on a couple of the tools - there is nothing to interfere with the working of the tool or cause operator discomfort. Probably the only thing that really needs improvement is the huge carry case they come it. The whole set of seven will comfortably fit in my back pocket, but the wrenches come packaged in a case 13" square and 1-1/2" thick. The intention is clearly that this case be mounted to a wall or peg board, but it is just too bulky, and I would be surprised if any tool department manager would want to surrender the shelf space that these are going to require. Anyway, these wrenches will get a permanent home in my shop. I am making up a little pegboard rack for them from an 8" length of 1x4. The wrench handles are all molded to a diameter of either about 7/16" or 9/16", so making the rack will only require three drill press settings and a couple of slots cut on the table saw. Overall, I would say these are a great value for the price.
