Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Earthling Takes time to assemble, but worth the effort.
I bought one of these about a year and a half ago. It did take more time than I would have liked to put it together. But when I was done, I thought it was well worth the effort. It has a nice solid work surface. I like the flexability of installing the drawers next to each other or one over the other. I installed the drawers one over the other on the right side so that I could store larger things to the left. The one thing that would be a nice addition would be a light at the top, but suitable florescent fixtures are available in the lighting dapartment, so that is very fixable. All in all, I am very happy with this workbench.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by NorthernWI Looks great in the store
After reading the reviews I should have known better. I had no way to get the bench home from the store so I had it delivered. The box looked like it came from the 1920’s. After opening it almost every piece was bent and the hardware was all over in the box. I tried to put it back in the box but was unable to. I then decided to put it together. I was able to put the bent and damaged parts in the back so it’s not so noticeable. The drawers are flimsy and don’t hold anything with any weight. The top is nothing more than particle board with a thin layer of Galvanized steel and it was damaged by the bands that held the box together. It is not what I had hoped for.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Autoshopguy This workbench is represented as much better than it really is.
When I assembled this bench, it was clear the product was cheap. It came damaged on the corner of the workbench right out of the box and the individual sheets of metal were thin enough to be bent with my fingers. I set it up and will be using it, but definitely looking for an upgrade as soon as I can, since I don't expect much use life or durability out of this product. Personally I would stay away or go check out the models in the store before making a decision. I would have happily paid $100 more for a product with the metal twice as thick so that it would actually hold up in a shop scenario.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by PeteL Not a sturdy workbench
When I opened the box I was surprised how lightweight and flimsy all the materials were. I wanted to believe in product having already paid for it and brought it home. Setting it up was not too difficult and the instructions were adequate. I kept hoping that after all the pieces were joined and assembled it would feel more confidence inspiring. Sadly that was not the case. The entire bench reminds me of one of those disposable aluminum baking pans used for baking. Nothing is square the thing rocks and even after trying to shim it that just created a wobble in another side. I can't recommend this bench to anyone because I do not possibly see how it could be used for any kind of project. Waste of good money.

This work bench is just right for a small area. It was easy to assemble for one person, but would have been much easier for two. I mounted the drawers on the same side, which left a larger storage area on the other side. Both drawers operate smoothly and are sturdy.
I even mounted a three inch vice to one corner, which, so far has worked great. I also mounted a couple of small flourescent lights under the top shelf which has really helped overcome my shadow while working.
I do have two complaints. First, several parts were bent or damaged during shipping. I had to make repairs before assembly was possible. A sturdier shipping box is a must. Second, for the price, a starter kit of peg-board hangers could be included.

I bought one of these over a year ago and have put it to a lot of use since.
It's almost entirely sheet metal, the exceptions being the table top which is particle board ...covered by sheet metal... and the Masonite pegboard in the back. It's reasonably sturdy and solid. Putting it together is a pain since there are maybe a hundred or so nuts and bolts to screw together, but that's not too big a deal. The instructions are decent and other than the repetitive screwing, it's easy to put together. After a year of constant use, it's basically in the same condition as when I bought it, so it holds up to wear and tear pretty well.
All in all it's a good product which does the job and isn't too expensive. If you're looking for a workbench, this is a good buy.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Flygarage Very nice bench and storage unit
Bought this and assembled it yesterday. It is a really nice compliment to my garage and my other husky cabinets. This is a nice unit for the price. I plan on adding overhead lights and a power strip which will complete it.
It was easy to assemble but does take some time. I had read other reviews that mentioned damage when opened but mine was in excellent shape
No complaints here, the only reason I did not give it five stars is it is not a five star unit. I would have had to pay a lot more for a five star heavy duty unit.

I bought one of these when we moved into our new home five years ago. I put it in my shop area where it has been extensively used for hobbies, home repair and just about anything else you can think of. This is the most useful and adaptable workbench I have ever used. I even managed to install two electrical outlets on the bench to make it even more versatile.
I plan on ordering a second one and locate it right up against the first one to get a 108" long work surface with storage.
You can't go wrong with one of these!!!
