Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Horrid design The nut that is part of the hinge design has fallen off on two out of my three knives, it just comes loose from opening and closing the knife. All of them the back little guard that keeps the knife straight has fallen off as well on all of them. The screws that hold the blade holder together have stripped themselves and no longer hold the blade. The knives are thick and not great to open in the first place. The previous design was much greater. Not perfect but much better. June 6, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best Utility Knife I've Ever Bought I purcased 2 3pcs sets of this Utility Knife and love them. I have one in each of my 5 cars and 1 for the garage and at work. I only problem I had is that one of the handels used to release the blade is broken, This mean the blade is not locked in place and bends backwards about a half inch before it locks. the belt hook was perfect for my caribeaner I use on my work lanyard. Knife is a little bulkey and heavy but not that bad compared to other knifes with the same features. Sorry to hear they are now discontinued, I would recomend this knife. Price is right plus the 15 extra blades is a steal. Have been in contact to see if I can get the one replace. Overall I love this knife May 22, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by hard to lock and unlock blade The price was right and I had bought some similar in the past so I thought these would be just like them. They have a different style unlocking mechanism. The mechanism seems to work better after spraying it with pb blaster. I don't know how long it will remain freed up. Only time will tell. I can see how this got discontinued. With a little tlc this product can be ok but why should you have to lubricate a brand new product to make it work. June 28, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Bound to Break The stop that prevents the blade from folding back on itself is poorly designed. It is a small cylinder wedged between the two sides of the knife. If you press hard enough the cylinder pops out and your knuckles crash into whatever you were trying to cut. All three of my knives broke within 6 months. Bad enough for a recall. If its worth anything, I own a husky tape measurer and flood light that I like a lot. This ruins my otherwise stellar perception of husky products. Its a shame, a darn shame. March 24, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor quality Screws have fallen out of 2 and 1 I have not used yet. Strange normally Husky has better quality...I won't buy them again. April 1, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Used the warranty quite a bit I have been using this product for years and sometimes you get a knife that lasts quite a while and sometimes you get a knife that only lasts a couple of weeks. However, the knife has a lifetime warranty on it, so if you have a performance issue with the knife you just take it to the store and grab another one. It's easy to replace the blades. March 13, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not impressed Was looking for new utility knives, and wanted something that was very heavy duty. Saw this 3 pack of Husky utility knives that looked extremely well built. So now a couple of days later, and I have a use for this new tool. I needed to slightly shave a piece of new drywall, and to my surprise, the small chrome pin above the t-lock devise, (which is there to prevent the blade holder from overextending), pops out and renders the knife useless. I had to find a tweezer to put this apparently spring loaded pin back in. And just to make sure this was not a fluke, I used the knife again the next day, again not on anything where I was putting a large amount of pressure on the blade, and again the pin was dislodged. I think Husky needs to go back to their engineering department. November 28, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Not as described in Web Listing. Item was listed as 3 Pack with 15 Blades. Item received is 3 Pack with 6 Blades. A different of 9 Blades per pack. So on my Order of 5 Sets, I lost 9 Blades x 5 Sets = 45 Blades short. October 29, 2014
