The nut that is part of the hinge design has fallen off on two out of my three knives, it just comes loose from opening and closing the knife. All of them the back little guard that keeps the knife straight has fallen off as well on all of them. The screws that hold the blade holder together have stripped themselves and no longer hold the blade. The knives are thick and not great to open in the first place. The previous design was much greater. Not perfect but much better.

The stop that prevents the blade from folding back on itself is poorly designed. It is a small cylinder wedged between the two sides of the knife. If you press hard enough the cylinder pops out and your knuckles crash into whatever you were trying to cut. All three of my knives broke within 6 months. Bad enough for a recall.
If its worth anything, I own a husky tape measurer and flood light that I like a lot. This ruins my otherwise stellar perception of husky products. Its a shame, a darn shame.

Screws have fallen out of 2 and 1 I have not used yet. Strange normally Husky has better quality...I won't buy them again.

Item was listed as 3 Pack with 15 Blades. Item received is 3 Pack with 6 Blades. A different of 9 Blades per pack. So on my Order of 5 Sets, I lost 9 Blades x 5 Sets = 45 Blades short.

I have been using this product for years and sometimes you get a knife that lasts quite a while and sometimes you get a knife that only lasts a couple of weeks. However, the knife has a lifetime warranty on it, so if you have a performance issue with the knife you just take it to the store and grab another one. It's easy to replace the blades.

Was looking for new utility knives, and wanted something that was very heavy duty.
Saw this 3 pack of Husky utility knives that looked extremely well built.
So now a couple of days later, and I have a use for this new tool. I needed to slightly shave a piece of new drywall, and to my surprise, the small chrome pin above the t-lock devise, (which is there to prevent the blade holder from overextending), pops out and renders the knife useless. I had to find a tweezer to put this apparently spring loaded pin back in.
And just to make sure this was not a fluke, I used the knife again the next day, again not on anything where I was putting a large amount of pressure on the blade, and again the pin was dislodged.
I think Husky needs to go back to their engineering department.

There are a lot of negative reviews on here for this knife set, but I haven't had any problems with mine. I've used them for cutting drywall mostly and haven't had any issues with loosing blades or having them fold over as others have mentioned despite not being particularly careful.
I planned on just getting a retractable knife, but I like that these are a little harder to open since I have small kids at home and I don't think they could open one if they somehow got ahold of it. I don't find it difficult to open with two hands, but opening it with one hand is a pain.
