The tube to the collector bags clogs way to easily. You have to stop and take it apart every other time you empty the bags. To top it off, since it has to be taken apart so much, the elastic straps that hold it to the mower just broke!

Little bit bulky, but on the plus side it was easy to put together and is easy to use.

This catcher does not fit the mower it is suppose to, if you purchase it you will have to modify it to make it fit

The gasket pops out of the cover when you hit a bump, allowing grass clippings to fly up in your face and all over you, and it is difficult to re-install. For as much this costs, it shouldn't be doing that! The cover assembly doesn't latch down easily and you have to "stretch" the plastic to make it lock. There is no seal on the cover assembly where it comes in contact with the top of the bags, which allows clippings to blow out around the top of the bags. Big disappointment, cheaply made, and not worth the money!

This bagger attachment for my 30" Ariens mower works pretty well if you're not mowing grass that is too tall or too wet. The two bins seem to fill fairly evenly and are very easy to remove and empty. I wish the rubber seal around the upper chute fit tighter as grass clippings and dirt will cover one's neck and back. Assembly was very easy with the notable exception of the lower chute. It was as difficult as I imagined. With the bagger in place, I can no longer drive the tractor through my residential gates. So, now I'm considering buying a storage building rather than performing the arduous task of removing the bagger each winter and storing the tractor in my garage. I did buy a nice cover, but I don't want to let my new tractor simply left to the mercy of the extreme elements all winter long.

bought the 30 inch double bagger. to go with the ariens 30 inch lawn tractor. the first time I used the bagger it clogged up a lot . but than I found if you slow down it does just fine, a little hard to get in the deck slot. its ok to use once in a whole for leaves ,twigs, dead grass. left bag fills much faster than the right bag. but if you trim about 1 to 2 inches of plastic from the bottom of the tube as it enters the catcher area it will fill more even. but I will mulch most of the time.

I have used John Deere baggers for a while. I bought an Ariens 30 in riding lawn mower, and I wanted a bagger. The bagger was a little tricky to attach (particularly the bottom hooks onto the mower deck). I have used the bagger twice and both times, the chute clogged. The grass was not very dry. I believe that the problem is the design -- the end of chute curves down and partially blocks the opening from the deck. I don't understand it.

Shipping was horrible. After it finally arrived I found it only shipped with 2 bolts instead of 4. They were tossed loose in the box, not even in a bag.
The lower shoot was bent and just barley will fit, shoot clogs even with dry grass. Poor design all the way around. If the closing latch lasts a year, I will be surprised.
Too bad it appears to be the only bagger option available.
