48 in. W Adjustable Garage Wall Tire Rack in Red is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 11.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Garage wall, Tire storage rack The storage rack arrived with all necessary hardware and the rack itself was solid and sturdy, would easily have stored 4 rims mounted with tires from a sedan. I did return the rack to the local store after receiving my online order. I returned based on size, the rack does extend further from the wall than I was expecting and I would have had to mount the rack higher than I would have liked. The return process was easy and hassle free, although the box may be difficult for some to maneuver into the car and back to the store returns desk. Very high quality product, just read and measure out the dimensions before you order to make sure it will fit as expected. Home Depot was great on both the order and returns process.

As previously stated in previous reviews I did use additional washers for the lag bolts to secure the rack to the wall. The red finish is good, the bars to support the tires do the job ! My tires are off the floor and on the wall ! Instructions were easy !

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great rack. A couple of opportunities for improvement, and a couple of tips for installation. The racks arrived in pretty good shape (I bought 2). The packaging was not sufficient to keep the pieces from banging around on each other, so there are spots where the mounting brackets gouged the paint a bit. As others that have bought this rack have noted, no washers are included for lag screws, so you'll want to buy some before installing. Installing them was pretty easy, but installing them "right" took a little more work. I found that the mounting tabs weren't welded at a perfect 90 degree angle to the frame. The result was that the end frames wouldn't extend straight out from the wall, and so the two ends wouldn't be parallel to each other. This then causes a challenge when installing the cross supports, as the cross support will no longer naturally line up with the mounting hole on the opposite side. In the two racks that I bought, each end frame was at a slightly different angle. Some angled inward, some angled outward. I fixed this by clamping the mounting tab in a bench vise and adjusting the bend of the tab until it looked closer to 90 degrees. Then, set it tab side down on the garage floor, and use a carpenter's square to check that it's close. Do this first, and save yourself some mounting, removal, and re-mounting. They are installed now and look great. Despite the fiddly installation, they are one of the best racks out there, especially for the price. They also have no problem holding the weight of my 245/60-18 winter tires and wheels for my SUV (about 160-180 lbs of tires/wheels).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good product. This product is heavy duty and easy to assemble. It's an excellent garage space saver. I have four wheels with 285 width tires on them and I still have a few inches to spare. The only issues I have are that the lag bolts should have had washers (not included), the lower front ends of the red brackets are sharp and pointy it would have been better if they were rounded, and if the packaging was better. Other than that it is still a very good product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stout and easy to install This product is just as advertised. All the components were of a quality well suited to the purpose. There may have been recent improvements since earlier reviews. The tubular crossbars were all the same diameter and strong enough to not bend at all under a 4 tire load. I followed a reviewer's suggestion to add washers under the mounting lag screws (manufacturer should supply these). The only negative is the pointy corners. If these corners were rounded (which would be more costly to manufacture), it would be much safer. Fortunately, I was able to mount the loft high enough that the entire unit is above head height and there is no real danger.
