Glasier tool to degraze windows. Blade is thin and strong, should last awhile. Its now about month old and still looks new after degrazing 50 windows.

This Scraper was just the size we required to remove Maple Seed Wings from between our deck planks.

Just what I needed to remove the quarter round from floor trim before painting. No damage to the boards!

I use these when installing and servicing windows. A good bar except for the black paint that goes all the way to the end. The paint can mar anodized or steel surfaces. The bar would be better if it was left unpainted or the paint didn't go down all the way to the scraper end.

Happy H.D. is carrying this item! For years could only find in one paint store. Have worn out two, lent one that was never returned and had one stolen on the job site. When tradesmen see how handy it is for removing trim, like shoe molding, they want one for themselves. The thin blade separates the "shoe" from the base with little or no damage to either piece. Great for punch out and remodeling. Also a handy scraper to remove caulking from base and shoe. My tool kit is not complete without it.

The point of this tool is to be light enough to insert in an narrow gap to pry pieces apart without destroying them. It is not a nail puller nor heavy prybar. Think, "very heavy putty knife."
I used one as a beekeeper more that 35 years ago, and I quick-drew it faster than Matt Dillon his six-shooter, to open beehives, separate bee boxes, lift out frames of comb, and to scrape off burr-comb.
I got so used to it, that in the years since I started woodwork and construction projects, I have always wished I had one. It is very useful for the jobs that want something in-between a putty knife and a pry bar. Until you pack one with you, you will never know what your are missing.
