It's not greatest tool in the box, but it did capture a lot of dust that otherwise would have been difficult to clean. I would use this again for remodel work where this is a lot of surrounding finished space that I would rather not coat in dust, but for new work would go back to just sanding blocks.

This works better then I thought it would. It's a little more work sanding with a shop vac attached to your sander but once you get the feel for it it's not bad. I sanded my kitchen and dinning room walls and ceilings and no dust, well worth it!

I used this to sand the bottom of my sailboat. This with a fine dust bag for my shop vac did a great job reducing sanding dust. I would estimate 90% or better dust collected.
I used the 120 grid sanding screens this time, next time I'll try 80 grid paper with some holes punched in them. This product worked much better than I expected.

I was skeptical but gave it a try. It did a surprisingly good job at sucking in all the dust as I sanded the wall. The attachment fit perfectlyI on my shop vac. The best part if not having dust everywhere!!.

Very difficult to keep the head on track at a proper angle. The pivot doesn't provide a lot of support, and head constantly binds and flips to the side, regardless of how much or little pressure. It was also hard to keep the pole from unscrewing.
I wound up using the hand sander instead

The sander initially did a great job. Basically vacuumed 98% of the dust when sanding. Used in one bedroom sanding it twice and worked great until the last 25% of the 2nd sanding. The unit pieces are held together with rivets. After a short time of usage the rivets become loose and it becomes hard to sand with. The sanding pad continuously wants to flip and not stay flat against the surface your sanding. You have to only sand holding the pad at a 45 degree position to the direction your sanding. If the unit was held together with a nut and bolt then the user could adjust the tension. For the price it is good. I would rather have spent 30% more for better quality construction of the unit.

This should be carried in stores! This makes sanding sheet rock work easy and keeping the area cleaner and greatly reduces the suspended particulate in the air!

Worked as advertised. The swivel could be a bit looser but it did vacuum the dust quite effectively.
