Answer:
Hello,
Rain shortly after an application of Image for St.Augustinegrass & Centipedegrass with Atrazine can impede the performance of the herbicide. We would recommend waiting several days to see how the weeds react. Atrazine can only be used twice a year.

Hi Stockadamus.
Thank you for your question.
According to the directions on the bottle, if there is a rain event or if watering occurs within 2 or 3 days of application, it may decrease the effectiveness on emerged weeds.
However, for the control of weeds from seeds, rainfall or watering is necessary within 7 to 10 days after treatment.
If you have rain within 24 hours of application, the product may have to be re-applied to maintain its effectiveness unless you are applying the product for the control of weed seeds in which case watering will be a requirement within 7-10 days of application.
I hope this answers your question. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Didnt work Mixed per directions. Been about 3 weeks now, weeds are still green as ever. It may have killed a few, but 95% of weeds are still kickin April 28, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by worst ever there are no features the performance was no good did not work and mixed it up double the second time. December 10, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Completely killed our St. Augustine lawn We mixed this product according to directions and applied it in January when the temp was cool. We applied it to patches of weeds, mostly clover. It completely killed the St. Augustine grass dead everywhere we sprayed it. Do not buy this product it is horrible. We now have to replace most of our front lawn. April 11, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Really works I tried weed b gone and it did nothing for the majority of the weeds I had. Next I tried Vigoro weed and feed. My weeds appreciated the kind gesture. They turned greener than the St. Augustine lawn. I then tried Image St. Augustine. I followed the instructions on the lable. I spot treated the lawn instead of wide broadcasting it. At first it looked like nothing was happening. But when the rains came a few days later it was total weed annihilation. First they turned yellow and then black. My lawn was NOT harmed as others claimed theirs was. I shook the bottle well to mix the ingredients. I applied when outside temperature was less than 90 degrees. When rain was not in the forecast for at least 24 hours. Finally applied water within one to four days, rain in my case. And bam! it worked. July 20, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by It works You know those weeds that come up twice yearly that have millions of seeds on their tops? Some people think these are crab grass because they actually look like crabs taking over your yard. They are not crab grass though. They are Poa Annua(Annual Bluegrass). A real pain weed due to their ability to create seed almost immediately upon sprouting from the ground. Well this weed killer kills this weed dead. Quick. And leaves the rest of the lawn alive. It does turn Zoysia brown sometimes but it will come back. St. Augustine has no problem with it. April 12, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works when used as directed I used on evil weed in my centerpiede sod in Atlanta. Worked very well. I am trying to contact company to determine when I can replace sod...most weed killers have a life span of about 14- 21 days. I am unsure about Atrazine??? September 4, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Dont buy this ptodict Bought this product for some Bermuda spots, st Augustine died and weed and Bermuda growing normally. Really disappointed. Will email the company for some answers. July 6, 2013
