It was a great replacement, it fit right into the original brass plate, so all I had to do was hook up the wires and screw the plate back in. It looks great.
Very happy with it, and so I bought another one to replace the back door bell button too.

I have a door bell decorated plate which needed a push button and this fit the bill.
I'm so glad we found the right one. It is well made and easy to install. If I can give it more stars I would. Love it.

Easy to install. Seems to be a quality replacement for my previous lit button. Hopefully it will last 5+ years as well.

replacements for old doorbell buttons.
easy to install, work fine.
Would have prefered non-lighted option. However I disengaged one of the light bulb wires which disabled the light bulb function and all is well.

This is a nice high quality lighted button, Many are often not very well made, but this one seems very well made and at a very fair price.

Warning: The built in and wired light does not work with all transformer voltages.
In my case, my transformer puts out about 10 volts ac . The light appeared as a short to the transformer and the button did not work. At first I thought the button was defective and took it back to Home Depot to exchange it. When the second button behaved the same way, I figured out that the wired light was the culprit. I cut the wire to the light, and the button is working just fine. The light was not important for me. So, the low price and convenience of getting it from HD was worth it. However, the lack of any information as to what voltage the light requires in order to work properly is an important shortcoming of this product.
The lack of information/instructions caused me to go to HD twice and it was not appreciated.

good replacement that fits inside existing round trim. No need to change entire unit. Just replaced existing push button. Also this button is lighted. I found a how-to video on youtube for the install. Would recommend. Only time will tell regarding longevity.
