I have now gone through 4 of these and the same problem, they stop working. I don't get many people at my front door so the button has minimal use. I'm through with this brand, Extraordinarily poor design that I'm surprised Home Depot still sells.

Button stopped working after 6 months. can't find manufacturer online to contact for a new one.

Purchased to "upgrade" the plain white button which comes with most of the IQ America wireless doorbells. Worked for a few weeks then button came loose and then out. Could not be repaired. Very poor design.

This was easy to install, but takes a BIG push on the button to get the chime to sound. I like the looks as it's one of the only wireless models available in a dark color that goes with our exterior colors. The others look cheap and white stands out like a sore thumb. Having said that, this button quit working in less than a year. It wasn't the battery because it still didn't work after installing a new one. I'm going to take a chance that it was a defective button. Despite the exorbitant price, I'm going to buy one more and hope it lasts longer than a year. Foolish? Maybe, but if I'm not forced to install a wired chime and button, I'll take one more chance.

Wow, even superman would have a difficult time with this. The button takes an OVER the top effort to depress the plunger. And once done, yoju have a 50 50 shot at getting the sound to come from the chimes. SIGH.
There was a great deal of time spent on researching which product to buy. A wired option was a recourse for our space, so wireless was our route. The bell installed easily and the design is far better in appearance and really looks like a wired one. This I love.
Hoping that more use of button will help it become more easily pressed. fingers crossed this will happen before the holiday company :)

I had ordered one but it did not work even after changing batteries (assuming the battery was dead). I returned it to home depot and got a replacement and it works very well. It looks great and many people comment on it style. Better looking then those cheap white buzzers

using the push-button in the wireless mode. sometimes needs to be held down for a second to have the door bell ring, not the usual push and release. might have to revert to the wired mode if this continues.

Button broke off very shortly after I installed it. Quality is extremely poor. As you can see, the company appears to subsidize the door bell only to overcharges for the push button. Other manufacturer's more superior push- buttons don't work with IQ America's door bells. Watch out!
