Answer:
No it is not difficult to install there is a pattern that you put against the wall or door and you cut on the line. You can be off quarter inch and it will cover very nicely..

Answer:
This pet door is easy to install, however, as with any home improvement project, if you do not have the tools or skills to properly install your pet door, we suggest using a professional handyperson or licensed contractor.

Answer:
It depends upon what you are installing it in. If screen only, you may wish to reframe it - to keep it from pulling out. Ours had to be reframed, and we hired an installer to do it.If you are handy, it's a good do-it-yourself project.

Not in my opinion, but you need some tools and basic skills to do the job. If you have an existing pet door with the same opening size then it should only take you about 5-10 minutes, but if you need to cut a hole in the door then it is a bit more work. I used an electric scroll saw to cut the opening, but you could probably get away with a hand saw if you had to. I would rate it as a 1 out of 10 for Read More

I used an electric scroll saw to cut the opening, but you could probably get away with a hand saw if you had to. I would rate it as a 1 out of 10 for degree of difficulty (i.e. not difficult at all), but I do lots of construction type stuff. If your not handy, it may be more like a 5/10.
Good luck!

Answer:
Yes the door is very strong. Make sure the door is big enough for the dog to go through the door. The door will give the dog its independence to go out of the house when ever it wants to go out. You do not have to watch the dog when it wants to go out...

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good product Works fine and dogs are not afraid of it like the othe one from this company that has hard plasic door. August 24, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Who let the dogs out? I bought 2 of these online for my new house and they arrived quick and in great condition. We had no issue installing them and they work like a champ. I have 3 dogs and a cat that use them and I think they will hold up just fine. I loved how easy it was to install and that it had a nice clean look. Most doggy doors I have owned don't seem as durable as this one and the price on this model was EXCELLENT! July 14, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great item, great price! Door is pleasing to look at & my dog seems to like it. Plastic flap stays clean & secure. July 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Door for the extra large dog I have a very tall German Shepherd. He would have to about crawl to get through smaller doggy doors but this one is just right for him to enter and exit from. It is large for a house as a person could climb through it but I use it in a big dog kennel for him to go outside. June 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by pet door we have had the smaller version of this door and it worked great. I will be replacing the small door with this one, we inherited a large dog. If big brother works as well as the small one, then great, no worries. May 9, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Sturdy pet door, looks good, not doggy friendly. Good luck getting your dogs to use it. We selected this pet door based on it's size, and appearance on web site. Hired our screen company to install it, to be sure it was installed correctly. When we opened the box, the pet door bore little resemblance to the photo. Instead of a flexible plastic door, there were three rigid, hinged double thick door sections that flip up and in and out if you push against it hard enough. After two weeks of use, only 1 of 3 of our dogs would go near it. The door scares them to death due to the racket the rigid panels make. They are used to flexible plastic doors, but this is an entirely different matter. We finally tied the door up and taped it so it could not fall or drop down, so they can go through the hole, not quite what we planned. It's a great door - IF your dogs will go through it. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Doggie door Installed easily and the door has worked well in our garage. April 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good quality pet door We bought this door to replace an older door that was worn out. The materials in this door appear very good, the flap is very flexible and the magnetic catch is strong and seals the door every time much better than the door it replaced. . . May 28, 2015
